I've shopped at several Ross stores, so I'm familiar with the general feel of the discount store. This Ross in particular is just too crowded. Everything is really packed in right.

Most miserable-seeming employees I’ve encountered. A simple smile or even a little kindness would go a long way—not just for shoppers, but for their own happiness too. Overall vibe felt unpleasant/unhappy. Makes the whole shopping experience less enjoyable—and I bought less so I could just get out of there.—man working dressing room seemed angry/upset and that came across in customer treatment. Won’t be going to this location—for these reasons.

Great deals but always LONG lines..if they had more checkers people wouldn’t leave things laying everywhere while in line so that they have to have workers clean up later. They could also make more money off selling the merchandise before people stand in line forever and then change their mind and leave it laying. Just seems like an easy fix to a crazy “circle” of business. Love the deals though

I’m currently shopping at this Ross location, and over the intercom, employees are announcing that no one will be checked out after 10pm, even if you're already inside the store with a full cart.
Just wondering are store owners or corporate aware that this is being said? It feels like a strange way to treat paying customers, especially those who’ve already spent time shopping. If there’s a hard cut-off time, it would be helpful to have that clearly posted at the entrance or mentioned before 10pm not as a last-minute announcement.
Posting here in hopes that management can clarify if this is an actual policy or just something employees are doing on their own.

they have good clothes and all, but there are only two cashiers most of the time to check out people and many other workers walking around when the line is all the way at the back of the store.

Very unorganized, horrible customer service, line took 30 mins due to only one cashier being opened, needs new management ASAP.

If you're going to have lines wrapped around the store the least you could do is put more than two people on the registers.

The store IS TRASHY..20: OR MORE PEOPLE IN LINE AND ONLY 2 CASHIER'S . NOT COOL. I THINK YOUR DM NEEDS TO MAKE A SURPRISE POP UP. Now only 1 cashier working the other one is just standing there like she doesn't see all these people in line

These people have no education, the cashiers throw your things at you and then the person at the door takes out all your things, what a bad treatment, don't go there anymore.

Don't go there, the line to pay takes a long time and then a woman at the door taking everything out of your bag as if you had grabbed something and that happens to everyone, I don't come here anymore.
