What a lovely experience we had at Golden Oak Winery. You can enjoy their lush outdoor gardens or their peaceful tasting room. But, most of all you must enjoy their world renowned amazing wines.

I decided to take a random road trip today. As I’m passing through New Waverly, I saw a sign that said “Winery 3.8 miles ⬅️”… so I followed it to Golden Oak Micro Cellar. This place is a gem off the beaten path. The parking lot was full, people were laughing and having a good time inside and outside. The staff were friendly and helpful which I always appreciate.
I tried a flight of 4 wines - all were very good. The property is cozy, comfortable and for being a hot summer day, the shade was nice. I’m so glad I stopped here and will definitely be back. Loved my visit here today!

What a nice selection of great tasting wine. Alex and Catherine , wine makers, have built a pleasant venue in which to sip and enjoy. All of their reds, my choice, are delightful. Well constructed, Texas grapes to bottled wine was for sure a labor of love. What a treat in New Waverly Texas. Worth the drive.

Husband and I had such a relaxing time here. The wines were great. We each had a flight and shared a charcuterie board. Ended up taking 4 bottles home, favorite was the tempranillo. The young lady helping us was friendly and very helpful in choosing our flights.

Really enjoyed my first visit to this winery. Very comfotable atmosphere, no competing with loud music or tv blaring. Just laugher and happy conversations. Loved all the wines I tried but one was excptional so I brought some home. Looking forward to warmer weather I think this will be my go to place to enjoy friends, good converstations, and awesome wine. Highly recomend. Thanks Catherine and Alexander. Yall have done a wonderfull job. So glad my friend brought me there.

I decided to visit Golden oak Micro Cellar in New Waverly, TX. I jumped in my car headed over to see the micro cellar. Owned and operated by Alex and Catherine
When I arrive, I was greeted by Catherine with a smile and discussed the wines that were available. I enjoyed a glass of the Petite Sirah outstanding flavors black berry, blueberry and coca: and a glass of wine makers red merlot and Cab Franc
Alex came over visited with me at my table. This is a great getaway and nice to kick back relax if you enjoy a fine wine I recommend stopping by. We are both work the power delivery to your home.
I bought 4 bottles, Texas Cross and wine cork basket. I will definitely visit Golden Oak again! Their hospitality shines through offer customer service second to one.

Most of the time, places with 5 star avg review are too good to be true. Golden Oak, however is a rare exception. I had a phenomenal experience here on a quiet Saturday afternoon. Alex and his wife welcomed me with open arms and afforded me an awesome afternoon wine tasting. My personal favorite was the Petite Syrah. Thank you!

Stumbled upon this place while escaping the city seeking some fresh air. What a wonderful stroke of luck. The wines were excellent, the owner was so nice, and it was a pleasant time. Will definitely be going back

I absolutely love this winery! From the moment you step onto the property, you're greeted with a serene and picturesque setting that instantly puts your mind at ease. The wine tastings were nothing short of amazing, offering a delightful array of flavors that truly highlight the craftsmanship behind each bottle. We indulged in the charcuterie board, which was a perfect complement to the wines and featured a delicious selection of cheeses, meats, and accompaniments.
What really stood out, however, was the exceptional customer service. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. It's rare to find a place that combines such a beautiful atmosphere with top-notch service and amazing products. I can't wait to return and create more wonderful memories at this stunning winery!
