It's a scale full of DOT officers. So it's not a place I recommend. Or maybe I was just there on a bad day for those poor men. If you dont like your job get a different one. Dont make other people pay for your bad choices.

Ensuring the state gets their fair share of your business profit and more for absolutely no overhead cost. Sorry, I meant to say ensuring Commercial Drivers are following all laws concerning them so they can keep our Texas roadways "SAFE".Thank You Commercial Vehicle Checkpoint !! I feel safer getting on our state highways knowing there are places like this around just to keep me safe!!

I gotta say it. To you morons that only want to trash talk these officers, I've dealt with a few of them. I have NEVER been treated in a manner in any other way than purely PROFESSIONAL. Just because he/she writes you a ticket, it doesn't make them bad people. Truck drivers...look at it like this. It's my job to bend and flex the laws as far as I can, sometimes breaking them to get a load moved...IT'S WHAT WE DO! It's the officer's job to catch us doing it! If you pull a skateboard, you know what I mean. If not...drive a few more years before you start talking trash.

Officer couldn't read my ELD, due to improper training. Gave me a bs ticket for improper brake adjustment. Officers need better training on US government mandated equipment.
