We have enjoyed hunts at Cactus Creek for many years. The ranch has eight feeders with elevated stands and lots of hogs. Although we do not hunt them, there are also exotics, sheep and goats available. There is a comfortable lodge and a cleaning facility with two hoists and a large walk-in cooler. There is side-by-side ATV on the ranch for game retreival. Bob the owner always stops by to say hello, Vicki helps with booking the hunts and Mark provides on-site guiding and skinning if requested.

Cactus creek is the perfect place to hunt in my opinion. Just got back from crossbow hunting with my son today. I’ll try to keep this short. The staff are incredible. The guides Brian and Jamie, although i know it’s their job to be nice and helpful, both of these guys were over the top f-in awesome. Cool as ice. And very patient with us. This was our first time ever bow hunting. And they made every memory for my son and i absolutely priceless. The lady i spoke to originally to book the reservation was named Vicky. The day of, even when we kinda got lost getting there, she was right beside her phone every time i called or texted to see where to end up (Apple Maps and Waze don’t exactly take you to the front door here)...every time we spoke prior to arrival she said have a safe drive. She even stayed on the phone with me until i got to the right gate. Great customer service all around the horn. Even the owner Bob came to see us off as we left this afternoon. Super nice gentleman. Prices are the most affordable i have yet to see in Texas. Im sure other places are nice too, but they don’t come close to cactus creek rates. If you are crazy loaded and got money to piss away, go ahead and waste it at ox ranch or 777. Or get a better more cozier experience here and save your bank account thousands of dollars... and get invaluable customer service... and give your young ones a time to remember
