I was sorely disappointed today. I've been stopping here when I go through this area for over ten years now. I was craving some fried shrimp and boudain balls. The fried shrimp were okay but the boudain balls were horrendous. They were dried out and seemed like they had been re-fried. EVERY bit of rice in them was like chewing beef jerky. Halfway through the first one I threw them all away. I didnt recognize anyone in there, and despite the copious amount of adults and children behind the counter, one man waited on me for everything. Food, check out, etc. All the while, other customers were waiting for food and service. The other adults were playing in the background with children. They were running back and forth through the food service area yelling. I tried engaging the middle aged man who waited on me but he would not even acknowledge I was speaking and saying" hello, thank you!" I won't be stopping anymore. I guess it's the big store in Devers or I won't stop until I get to Port Arthur.

The bathrooms were gross. Gas prices are higher than surrounding areas. Not the best place to stop, but the only one at this intersection.
