“I used to go here when it was advanced mobility so I came back when I needed my Tesla fitted with hand controls. They were very good at texting with me and handling all the photos and details. They even put on a different spinner knob I bought my self. So that was very nice of them. I did, however, come home to find a metal plate had been placed over my gas pedal and I’m not sure how I didn’t see it when I was there, but I didn’t. I mean, not like I use the gas pedal with my foot, but some kind of explanation would have been nice. My wife also uses my car so I had to remove that plate. It came off by removing a single bolt so it wasn’t a big deal. They also seemed very unsure of how to fit a Tesla which leads me to believe they don’t do it often. But in the end it got done and everything works great.”
“The staff at the Roanoke location are hands down the best in the business. Very compassionate at my situation, informative, helpful and definitely made me feel at ease with the whole process. They even checked on me after a couple days to reassure I was happy with the vehicle. I will be a repeat customer should I need to have a rental. Highly recommend!”

We finally reached Katie at the Grapevine location, and she was an absolute game-changer. She understood the issue immediately, bypassed the standard runaround, and worked directly with the maintenance team to get it resolved. She even called us back to give us an update that it was all set. After a miserable two days of being stuck, Katie saved the day. Exceptional customer service!”

“We got stranded in Dallas over this awful winter storm Elliot, Southwest and every transportation company at the airport truly left us and thousands of people with no options to get home. A girl at another Avis location in Grand Prairie told us our Avis reservation somehow wasn’t available and basically told us to leave and figure it out somewhere else. She rudely sent us here to this location off 360 and the incredible man (who has worked for Avis for 38 years!) was our absolute hero and got us a car. We didn’t get his name but he was a wonderful gentleman who saw we were about to end up lost here over Christmas and helped us out. Thank you thank you thank you to the only kind and helpful person in all of Dallas today. ❤️”

“Not a bad experience, but just so everyone knows: If you return your vehicle and have any additional charges, they will refund your original money and then charge you the new amount without telling you they are doing that. This means that if you are someone who doesn't keep a big balance in your checking account (as no one should) there will suddenly be a big balance for scammers to target. I don't have a complaint about this location. They were great to deal with. I just have a problem with no one telling me about the billing practices that they had no idea would affect me. Great location and customer service.”

“Love this Avis. I rent here regularly for work purposes and they team are amazing. I'm always in and out quickly and they even remember my vehicle preferences, so I almost always have my preferred make and model ready to go! They also offer Budget rentals (including moving trucks) out of this location, which is super convenient in my line of work. I am the same distance from three different competitors but will purposely choose this Avis every time.”

“Pack your patience. Honestly I had a very good experience but I wasn't sure I was going to. This place was understaffed as per usual for most places these days. Had three people in front of me that were all complaining about issues that they could have prevented and therefore had nothing to complain about. But after all this is 2026 so everybody thinks the rules don't apply to them. One guy started shouting because he had no credit card in his name. Another family could not find the reservation number. This party finally found their number and came back in saying that a window had been smashed out from the car that they were assigned. I think I was the last customer that day. Since I pretty much did everything online or via the app, as you should do in a situation like this to make it easier on the employees and to keep the line moving, I was out in less than 5 minutes. Yet the other four people in front of me took easily 45 minutes. I was amazed at how much patience the employee had, and the porter was a very nice young gentleman who was very professional as well. Good job Avis.”

“My truck broke down and the dealership directed me here for a rental. I didnt even know there was a rental place at the Gaylord Texan. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I can't remember her name, but she brought my rental to me (which was a brand new CT5) and we both had a moment in awe of how nice it was. She was very personable. The counter staff were amazing as well. Great job! Flawless rental experience.”
