I enrolled my child at Children's Lighthouse about a month ago and have been so pleasantly surprised by the care and patience they have for him. The classroom teachers (Ms Mariah and Ms Bri) are responsive and kind. There are very regularly daily updates on the app and significant diversity in daily activities for the children. There's even a splash pad on premises! The administration, especially Heather who gave us our initial tour, is friendly, professional and confidence-inspiring which I cherish because it comes across as so respectful of our family and our time. It's been a blessing so far to have our child here.
Any parents considering the school reading this who want to connect please let me know! I know the process to find a school for your little one can be fraught!

My daughter loves it here! We’ve placed her in a few different daycares and this one is the BEST! We absolutely love the staff and the teachers are amazing! Katie, Heather, Heather, Yvette, Jade, Sam, Ashley, Abby, Ms. E, the list goes on! We’re so glad our sitter recommended this daycare to us and it truly is the best around.

Leaving our beloved daycare feels incredibly bittersweet. Both of my sons had the privilege of growing up in this nurturing, loving environment—one starting at just 3 months old and the other shortly after turning one. From the very beginning, the staff made the transition from having a nanny at home feel seamless. I was so nervous about placing my children in someone else’s care, but the hands-on attention, warmth, and communication gave me complete peace of mind.
The teachers and staff have truly become an extension of our family. Their care goes beyond just watching the kids—they are intentional, patient, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth. I’ve watched my boys flourish emotionally, socially, and academically thanks to their guidance.
What also sets this daycare apart is how family-oriented it is. They consistently host thoughtful, fun events that bring parents and children together—whether it’s holiday parties, themed dress-up days, or family picnics, they always go above and beyond to create lasting memories.
I’ll forever be grateful for the love and foundation this daycare has given our sons. It will always hold a special place in our hearts. You are blessed if your child gets a seat! We miss you guys 🥹!

We are really happy with our first experience at a day care center! So thankful to have been able to snag a spot at Children’s Lighthouse of Oak Point. The front office staff is very helpful with all the things and our experiences with the seven teachers (in two different rooms) we have worked with has all been lovely as well. They have helped me personally transition as it was a big adjustment for myself to drop off my little one, but they have helped him learn and grow in leaps and bounds since he began. I can tell he really enjoyed his time there and I love that I can tell the teachers find joy in him each day too. The building is safe and secure, the curriculum is evident in the work and communication my son brings home, every staff member we’ve met is very friendly and kind, and we love that they do an excellent job building a sense of community at the center! We have enjoyed the events they’ve put on for the kids allowing us time to visit and build relationship with other parents too. We are really happy and would recommend to anyone who asks about our experience and needs child care!!

Both our boys have/are attending, and our third is on the list to start after he’s born. They make you feel like family and knowing they’re in good hands is peace of mind you don’t get at every daycare.

Lighthouse has been a blessing to my husband and I! We transitioned from a different daycare at the end of last year and my daughter has loved every bit of it. Room 4 teachers have been wonderful in their communication on a daily basis, sending pictures, along with providing lots of learning opportunities that we now notice and practice at home. Love Childrens Lighthouse of Oak Point 100%!!

I couldn’t imagine a better childcare facility for my daughter than Children’s Lighthouse - Oak Point! My daughter loves it and learns so much. Every teacher she’s had has poured into her development and the administration is great! I know they all genuinely care about her and I truly believe my daughter’s development and growth are just as important to them as they are to us! Sending my daughter here was the absolute best decision!

My daughter has attended Oak Point Children’s Lighthouse for over 2 years. It’s been a great experience for her as well as my husband and I. She loves waking up every weekday morning excited to see her teachers and fellow classmates. She’s built quite the relationship with both. The front office is prompt and always follows the correct protocol in any incident. Our child has been safe through this pandemic. Our son who attends Oak Point Elementary does participate in the before and after school care offered during the academic school year. He enjoys the childcare the the setting that facility offers. The Flintroy family highly recommends Oak Point Children’s Lighthouse.

Positive things about this center:- Some of the staff are really good! Miss Mariah in room 5 and Miss Carla in room 1 come to mind.- Your children will be educated, not just allowed to play all day. I think this is a benefit.- It is clean and well taken care of overall. There were never any issues with unsanitary things or such.Negative things:- Your child will never get the attention and care they truly need when they are stuffed into a classroom. They follow state ratio, sure, but they go above and beyond to hit maximum profit. There is no reason to have a room of 35 4-year-olds PERIOD!!!- They allow violent children to stay. My child was bit and kicked and while she is gone, the other child is still there.- They cannot keep teachers. It seems that they expect their teachers to put up with too much for too little.

Children’s Lighthouse has been the most wonderful place for my son to learn and grow. He has blossomed so much since beginning school here and loves his teachers dearly. One thing that sets Children’s Lighthouse apart (and that my son absolutely loves) is the importance placed on spending time outside. Thank you for making preschool so fun. We are so grateful!

We came from another children’s lighthouse nearby and thought we were pretty happy before, we had no idea on what we were missing out on!!!!! We have been deliriously happy to see and feel how fantastic the staff here are, the kids are always busy doing fun learning things, they have show n tell, pretend play Parties, worksheets, blocks, circle time and soooo many other things. They frequently post pictures and updates and you are never left to question how your child is doing. There are always plenty of staff for the amount of children, I never feel as if the classroom is overloaded or that my child isn’t getting enough attention here. Where she was freaking out and crying to go to class everyday previously, she practically drags us into her class every day and is excited to tell us about her day after school! Best switch we have ever made!!
