I had made a reservation online 2 days prior for a car. I got a ride to the location and go inside to find out they didn’t have any vehicles. My ride had already left before I found out they didn’t have the car I reserved. AVIS had already billed my credit card for a car I didn’t get and they tell me it will be 10 buisness days before the money goes back to my account. Needless to say my ride had already left so I had to call Enterprise because they pick you up, even from a crappy AVIS location. This location used to be good but has gone downhill really fast. I have my buisness account with AVIS but will now be switching over to Enterprise due to this experience at this location.

Nice.... Knowledge, quick and to detail. I did not like the fact you didn't have a card to do a walk around with. My car had slot of damages. I had to take pics with my phone. Tried to call them in but, was told customer service was close and nothing they could do. Call back in the morning. That wasn't every professional. But, when I returned the car that morning I told the lady at the desk and she said no worries I would no be held responsible so I hope not.

Used to use them a lot. The young man that was working there before was excellent and had built a relationship with him . Appears to be different personnel working there now. Showed up an hour early to get my payment and everything squared away. Was told I was gonna be charged another day for being an hour early. Even though my return time was going to be three hours earlier than my pick up time. I was like OK cancel my reservation then. Talk about not knowing how to pick your battles. I have a vehicle so it wasn’t a big deal. I was just trying to keep my mileage down. I just use the money towards my principal, no biggie.

Well I'd have to say if you wanna pay outrageous rates, like $120+ per day for a minivan, this would be the place for you! Rental car companies are ridiculous these days. But I guess when you have options like Turo and other apps taking most the business you gotta overcharge the ones that do come thru the door!

The Worst custumer service ever

Avis rental in Odessa. I had rented and paid for online 3 days prior to my appt to pick up the car. When I got there to pick it up he said I had rented it for 35 days and you could only rent for a month. He had to call someone to fix situation and wasn’t able to reach them. Then, he couldn’t give me the car because my husband had ordered the car and he had to be there since he ordered it. Didn’t matter that we have the same last name and address.
More importantly - none of these “rules” were displayed when we made the purchase. Then to cancel - I had to call customer service. He couldn’t do it. I had driven 30 miles to get car. (My daughter drove me) I left without a car rental.
Plus - he seemed to not even know I was coming to get a car. He said “well, the only one I have is this Toyota - you’ll have to have that as I don’t have anything else available”.
Very disappointed customer! 😡

Overpriced when all the other rental agencies I could get same vehicle for in it’s entirety at same price not per day. Also an employee taking personal calls while talking to a customer is very unprofessional

Will not have your car ready at reservation time. First time I’ve encountered this with Avis this location is unorganized wouldn’t recommend it.
