About Crisis Center of West Texas
Crisis Center of West Texas (CCWTX) provides services to survivors of sexual and domestic violence in West Texas. CCWTX offers free, 24/7 emergency shelter for adult survivors and their minor children at Louise Wood Angel House, even when the administration office is closed. The shelter remains open and the hotline is available. Free services are available to survivors whether or not they live in the shelter, including counseling, safety planning, referrals, and legal advocacy. Educational presentations and community events are also available for free to groups and individuals across the nine-county service area. The staff at CCWTX is described as very respectful, nice, and caring, creating a safe and non-judgmental environment. The shelter is clean, and the rules help maintain order and a safe zone. While one reviewer was asked to leave due to untreated mental health issues, the overall feedback emphasizes the center's dedication to supporting survivors and helping them get back on track.

This place is a very very safe place...for anybody that enters there. The staff is so caring. The energy and vibes are very none judgemental and they really help to point you in the right direction to get back on track in life. The staff is never hostile or aggressive twards clients and they maintain very professional demeanor.

I was here a few months ago I got kicked out of the shelter due to being hospitalized because of untreated mental health issues
