Worst customer service in person and at 800#.In person was NOT helpful/ not knowledgeable on process regarding car insurance.#800 canceled the reservation with the discount and I had to pay full price although it had been paid for on line with discount.Just a cluster! Arrived at 9 to pick up car did not get car till almost 11.

I have came out here for work every two weeks for the past 6 months and got a car through the airport. The two front ladies were always so nice to me, and after awhile I didn’t have to do all the paper red tape bs with my ID and card. Tanya and Geneva (not sure if I spelled them right) were super nice to me and it’ll be sad not see them now I’m not making these trips anymore. Be nice to these ladies and they’ll treat you right!

I had no idea that my bank card that I’ve used as a credit card many times wouldn’t be accepted after getting the reservation and confirmation # for it after using it. They took my card # over the phone and I paid a guy 120$ to get me there from Colorado City TX. I didn’t think to get his number when dropping me off and wasn’t informed until reaching the desk. He was gone and I had to pay an Uber 200$ just to get me back to Colorado City TX. I was in shock and one of the desk lady’s was snickering about it! I failed to see any humor in this situation I was put in by this company!

I wish I could give this location 0 stars. I waited for two hours to get a car, despite having a long standing reservation and there being plenty of cars in the lot in Hertz spaces. I also booked the car and gave the person at the desk my work credit card and somehow my personal card was charged - I'm assuming this is because I linked my reservation to my gold account? I have no idea how that even happens. But several folks were getting keys to cars as soon as they checked in, while we all watched. Eventually we asked what the deal was and the lady said it's because they were gold members. I told her that I'm a gold member too! And it's completely unfair, gold member or not, to get keys immediately while others wait for 2 hours. I had a terrible Hertz experience at another location a few weeks ago but this is the final straw. I'm never renting from them again.

3rd trip in a row that they did not have any vehicle to fulfill my reservation - not even a Downgrade. Like a Seinfeld episode, they are very good at Taking the reservation, but they are No good at holding, keeping or honoring the reservation.Terrible, Terrible, Terrible at having the reservation available even when you reserve for two hours before you land and wait an additional two hours for it After you land! (and when you have a 3+ hr drive ahead of you after landing, that is a Huge impact!)

Because not everything is bad reviews… I must say that Larry must be recognized for his great customer service! I rent cars at this location several times per year and every single time that he’s there, I have an easy, fast, and pleasant experience. Definitely, people like him must be leading!

It was frustrating beyond belief not to be able to get through to this office by phone, to confirm they would stay past midnight if a flight is late. The call center (likely overseas) didn't provide much assurance. But I'm happy to report they do indeed await delayed flights, past their scheduled closure time, and the service I got upon arrival was efficient and friendly.

Just be aware that they will nickel and dime you with late fees regardless of when you turn the rental in . Calling the corporate number will do nothing. They won’t address any issues till 3 days past the termination of rental agreement . Highly recommend avoiding if at all possible.

Returned car full. Charged $53.10 for fuel. Noticed employees had falsified vehicle return mileage by + approx 200 miles on return statement. Fortunately I photographed odometer at time of return. Waiting to hear back. Criminal misconduct.

i had a reservation, when i got to counter, they said they have no cars and i need to wait at least an hour for cars to come back. i don't have the time to wait hours in the airport.whats the point of a reservation? they were not even apologetic. i would give zero stars if i could. terrible business, stay far away.i certainly understand how they got the low ratings on yelp and google. looks like they earned every bad review they got

Hertz was very uncooperative and seemed to not want to make anything happen for me. My truck was recently hit by an oilfield worker and I needed a rental. The insurance claims adjuster tried to make it happen but could not. The manager of Hertz Rent A Car told me I would have to pay 300$ out of pocket per week and a 200$ security deposit. Now why in the world would Hertz not take the Insurance company money ? I didnt ask for this to just happen to me. Guess enterprise is the only way to go. Strongly advise people not to use the Hertz Rent A Car in Odessa, Tx.
