He literally scammed us. We have proof.
We dropped our truck off here, it was an RV park, should’ve been our first hint right, nope. I gave him the benefit of the doubt because my family does mechanic and auto body in Wyoming and they have had hard times too.
The picture of the property with the fence and the lift is across the street & down the road, and he only uses it by renting it for as few days as possible so vehicles sit at the side of an RV park.
He told us there was 17 codes. I confirmed with family everything he said was possible based on how it was running. So he is smart and knows what he is talking about…
We gave him money upfront for parts so he could get them ordered immediately. Later after supposedly working on it, it supposedly had new codes. He told us he needed more for Additional parts. We gave him that.
A couple days later my brother-in-law drove by and the truck was on university with boxes broken into & locks broke. The inside of the truck was mostly cleaned out when we dropped it off besides a few personal belongings left in the truck we didn’t think anyone would want. Work boots, coat, and random things.
He couldn’t meet us at the truck and blamed people in the RV park.
We left with the truck. It ran the same as before. Sheriffs could do nothing.
We didn’t know the police didn’t go that far west.
There is a good chance we never would’ve seen the truck again had my brother in law not drove by that night.
Before taking our truck here, we had an appointment at Premium Auto Care for two weeks later. We were hoping to get it back to work sooner so tried this.
We kept the appointment. It was an easy fix. They confirmed nothing had been touched mechanical recently.
He is likely a mechanic and might actually do a good job for someone with an older vehicle and who appears poor. We were neither. We learned our lesson.
This was last year. I never got around to writing the review.

Extremely unprofessional is the only way to put it. John has basically stole $1000 and my truck from my brother in law. he has blocked any form of contact with them and refused to give any form of compensation or update on the situation. All the good reviews are probably fake. This business is nothing but thieves and liars. I highly suggest going elsewhere for any vehicle repairs. They’ll just steal your vehicle and block you. Already filing a lawsuit and having police involved. Disgraceful mechanic is the only way to put it.

Scam artist!!He asked for a down payment for parts that cost over $800 after it was sent he quit replying to me and even changed his number!!You can either return my money, fix my car or I will not stop till you are shut down! I will even remove my review if you make it right!Services: Transmission

Absolutely do not use their service, they flat out lied about my truck needing a fuse box and starter. Did not keep his appt, said the solenoid was welded to the starter and fuse box blown (they were not) charged me over , $1000 dollars for repairs I didn’t need and did not fix the problem. At that point he wrote me a refund invoice and has refused the refund. They are living in a hotel and not legitimate mechanics, I actually saw him using google to figure out how to install a starter. John and Abby were both very hospitable, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful of getting our car up and running again when my girlfriend and I were stuck in the middle of Odessa Texas. They really took care of us when all the other mechanics were closed. They came to the rescue and got us back on the road.
