This store had the opportunity to be an asset to the community. But permanently closing all of the self checkouts, having one register open in the evenings (after work this store is very busy). You can’t buy ice cream without it being melted by the time you leave the check out stand. I’m very understanding of the cashier and would never be rude to her over the wait. It certainly isn’t her fault, but if I’m going to wait in line that long every single visit, the convenience this store could offer is gone, and I’ll just drive a little further to Walmart.

One star due to one person works there and they won't open the self check outs they told us they are punishing the customers. Get with the program DG. Closing self check out doesn't stop anything.

The manager is horrible making up stories about people stealing when all her friends do it there and my daughter had a receipt showing she paid and the laws came hours later to give her a ticket

Went in there last night. Had lines down self check out a line wrapped around at register. The manager or assistant. Just sat in the office. She came out twice. And went straight back. Didn't offer to help the other employees with customers.

It's a Dollar general you know they got stuff & cleaners .. etc. .. oh ... they have fruit too I guess and a little bit of meat for some reason. OH &
~ WHAT IS THE POINT OF SELF CHECKOUT IF EVERY TIME SOMEONE BUYS SOMETHING IT DINGS FOR ASSISTANCE AND A PERSON HAS TO COME OVER AND DO SOME CRAP JUST TO GET THE PURCHASE TO GO THROUGH??

Im a local and I use this store.weekly they always speak.nasty to me.and make a sense with others around I've never be told I couldn't use thar store n now i.cant even purchase things all over me proving to the young lady on night shift I did spend 500.dollars on there store and I was no thief

Need to fix thier self checkout. What's the point in digital coupons if you can't use them on self checkout. So stand in line with a bunch of people if you want to checkout with a coupon. No thanks.

I visited d&g market Saturday to purchase the advertised 3 15 pack pepsi and when I checked out they charged $13.00 plus tax. I showed circular showing $12.00/ 3 15 pack for $12.00 and he said they can’t change it it’s set by vendor. I asked for manager to override and change price and a girl came over and said same thing and tried calling someone on phone but after 5 minutes couldn’t reach anyone with authority. We left the store without sodas and now no that there is no one on premises that knows how to override cash register and sell the product at the sale advertised price in their weekly circular.if it’s advertised at a price you have to sell it for that price, that’s law.Management needs to look into this and train their people how to handle this situation. I was totally frustrated how all people there handled things.I’m surprised that this new store in Onalaska , Tx is still open!!!I’ve been in the store 5 times since it opened and 4 out of 5 times there have been problems with pricing when trying to check out.

Amazing selection for such a small store. I give them a try first before driving further to the grocery store. So far they've filled the bill.

It was great, very close to my house. They aren't fully stocked yet but the staff was professional and courteous. They have fresh fruits and veggies. They didn't have the cat food that I needed which is friskies lil soups in shrimp and tuna flavors but I have hopes for the future. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it to everyone in the area
