“Walking into this place feels like I just stumbled into the 1920s. This has to be the oldest store in Southeast Texas that is still in business. They have cast iron pots and other items you cannot find anywhere else and that is built to last decades, plus plenty of feed as well too to accommodate thousands of farm animals. They have no air conditioning, but this is still the best and friendliest place to shop.”
“I have ordered online a few small items earlier and been satisfied with the result. I needed a new garage refrigeratot recently and decided to take the plunge on a major appliance. It arrived today, delivered by Joseph Bessard and Cecil McBride. They kept me notified about when the delivery would happen, arrived on time, placed the new appliance where I wanted, and took away my dead one. I was pleased with their efforts. I discussed the delivery options that made the customer either (1)pay for an unwanted water line or (2)get the appliance dropped off in the driveway still in the box. A third choice needs to be: Move the item into position but omit the water line purchase. He said he would refund the water line charge and not leave the water line with me. Time will tell how that will turn out.”
“This place looks amazing, but they’re never open when I come by. I’ve come by on a Monday and a Tuesday and the open sign is up but everything is padlocked and no one answers the phone. I’m desperate to get in, I’m in need of some new exotic plants. I have to drive far to get here as well. Am I missing something unspoken about their hours of operation!?”
“Always a very good experience with those working there. Kind and considerate people. I mainly use Garden mix. Live 100 miles away. Use in raised beds with compost have excellent results. Would recommend to anyone yard working. Landscaping. Wish they were closer to my residence .”
“Home Depot is a go-to for all my home improvement needs. The selection is vast, and the staff are usually helpful. However, sometimes it can be challenging to find assistance, and prices can be a bit high. Overall, a great store, but room for improvement.”
