I'm not reviewing the store, because I actually haven't bought anything there yet, because I just moved to Orange, and I don't really drink alcohol. What I will review is the hospitality, helpfulness, and empathy of the men that are the employees and/or own the store. I got stranded in their parking lot in front of their store yesterday evening because my car wouldn't start when I had stopped at the neighboring store and came back out to leave. I already have my own jumper cables, so I only needed someone to be nice enough to help me out jumping my car off with their vehicle. Pretty straitforward and easy to do. So, I see that the two men that had left the liquor store when I had pulled up in the parking lot had now returned as I'm having the issue of my car not starting. I asked them if they could possibly help me out with their vehicle to jump off my battery on my car. The man tells me it isn't his car, but he would go inside the store and ask the owner of the car if he can help me. I wait for them as I'm trying to look for anyone else that could help me. He comes back out and tells me that the man inside that owns the car was not okay with them helping me. I was literally taken aback because in all my adult life of over 20 years, I have never had anyone tell me this. So, I sure won't be giving them my business EVER. Just thought I'd let people know the character of the people of that establishment.

The staff really know their stuff and will help in selecting things. Very friendly and the prices are competitive. The closest specs is a half hour away, but this is a decent substitute when you don't want to drive just for some booze.
