“The food is delicious here, especially their plate lunches and breakfast off the steam table. My favorites are breakfast, fish and shrimp on Fridays and Chicken fried chicken on Thursdays and Sundays. I always refer to the breakfast as the “Kdan’s continental breakfast” because you can choose al carte. The bacon and the biscuits are my personal favorite for breakfast.”

“One of the longest standing snocone shacks here, if I recall? They have a fun, wacky, inflatable, arm-waving fan man thing. Drive thru is available. Tons of options. Grateful for the covered awning so folks aren't standing in the blazing sun. Little bit hidden by a couple of local businesses and deep into the parking lot.”

“Dollar generals have been popping up everywhere lately mostly in rural areas.. I stopped at this one because it was close by, and nobody else is around the area, and to my amazement, they were well stocked with cheap prices. Definitely change my mind about dollar generals and I plan on continuing to shop there”

“I was in the Market Basket a few days ago and she isn't a nice person. I go in there and do all my shopping. She is rude to most of her employees and she is rude to customers as well. I go in there hoping that Ms Brenda is there to wait on me and I have talked with other's and we would love to see Ms Brenda back in the Market Basket in Vidor back working there again. Because a lot of the customers are thinking about going to another store to do out shopping. We heard also why Ms Brenda quit. No one is obligated to answer there phone while there off work . Found out it was the main store manager there at the Market Basket in Vidor. And she really needs to go ahead and retire or let her go. That Market Basket has problems keeping employees anyway. You need more people in there that has a good personality and you need to get Ms Brenda back in there. The store manager should apologize to her and realize what she said was wrong. If not I know a lot people that might stop shopping at the Market Basket in Vidor. It all about how you treat customers employees to keep a business running. . I know enough people to have it closed down.”

“All there many cash registers were open. They sack & carry out your groceries. Well stocked, friendly people. Great place to shop! Unlike Walmart they like us.February 3,2023HEB is a good store but, still don't have Progresso French Onion soup or Cream of Mushroom soup GLUTEN FREE! THOSE are good to cook with for people who have GLUTEN allergy. Next complaint is meat! I know all about the price problems in America but when you can't get anything but hamburger for a sorta decent price that is a shame!! Did get a roast at under $6 a pound that was great. Just hope we get better prices but usually once people get used to paying they never go back! Used to the sackers would ask if you wanted help carrying groceries to your car but not as of late. Saw 2 elderly people almost beg to get help. I'm 75 and had surgery 4 weeks ago and was told to not lift over 20 pounds. So I asked young man to please assist me. He didn't react with enthusiasm but not ugly and helped me. We talked a bit to car and when he found out I had surgery he was very sweet. I'm in good shap for old lady but them asking is a sign of respect. Now to moving products around the store that sucks but I know they have to in order to make room for new products. But all in all store is good!”

“Really great place to go grocery shopping,kinda pricey but if you can afford it definitely worth going to... fairly clean and well kept majority of the time and very friendly, helpful staff and I must say that all of management are always watching and engaged with the employees and very helpful with any issues that may arise and handle them with awesome professionalism, the ONLY "negative" if one would look at it that way it s that the Smokehouse items are a bit over priced and not very prepared all that good at least just by looking at it especially the ribs, chicken breast at times but maybe that's a very fixable issue... just get a different grill person I guess oh well but overall a wonderful place to shop!!!”

“They should have more than one person able to run the customer service desk.The CSR has to take breaks, use the restroom, and tend to think on the floor, leaving the desk unattended and lines start to form, and customers are waiting for minutes upon minutes even while management walks by saying someone will be with them, they'll be right back. That's not quality customer service.Also, in the parking lot, there should be a basket drop in the middle of the handicap park, I have helped several elderly out of their vehicles to a cart or brought them a cart so they could use it to walk inside.”

“I wasn't actually shopping at Market Basket I was in there getting a rx filled from Bruce's Pharmacy which is located inside the Market Basket. However, while I was burning time waiting for my rx to be ready I noticed that Market Basket had several items that you prob won't find or find in stock anywhere else. For example, my favorite Body Armor flavor is Blue Raspberry & it's pretty hard to find most of the time but Market Basket has plenty of them along with any other flavor you can possibly want. I like the fact that you can also purchase single air filters & they always have my size in stock. Also, finally found some Aloe Vera sunburn spray that I looked for at a few other places that didn't carry it but I found it very at Market Basket.”
