“Dollar generals have been popping up everywhere lately mostly in rural areas.. I stopped at this one because it was close by, and nobody else is around the area, and to my amazement, they were well stocked with cheap prices. Definitely change my mind about dollar generals and I plan on continuing to shop there”

“The food prepared here is the best! The pizzas are always very generous with their toppings and not greasy. The plate lunches are always very tasty and many times better than home cooking. The burgers are GREAT! My grandson is 7, and when he is given the choice of where we go to eat, he always asks for a cheeseburger and fries from Sunshine. “They're the only one's I know of that has Dougets roux for gumbo and they're the only one's that sells the little pork thing's wrapped in bacon, it's cheaper when you have a Market Basket discount card, so I got one.The pork wrapped in bacon was $1.99 with discount card, was $2.49 without card,I,I think.”
“As someone who works at the store I can say a lot more about it and confirm its one of the good dollar general we have our issues with the systems but that is ok for being as old as they are and as for our customer service I can say that for me I'd rather my customers leave feeling as though they found a new store they want to go to more even if they don't get any items we try out hardest to keep as much of our back stock off the floor and keep the shelves as full as they can be and make sure to not run out of our essentials and if anyone has issues finding a product we are more than happy to help you find the items you're looking for our managers are top notch and are very nice and are more than willing to help get things situated if a problem may arise (also regarding nearly all reviews that are negative they are from an age long past back when there was another manager and crew working now its a whole new manager and a whole new crew and we're ready to make our customers happy and have their selves a new store to go to)”

“They should have more than one person able to run the customer service desk.The CSR has to take breaks, use the restroom, and tend to think on the floor, leaving the desk unattended and lines start to form, and customers are waiting for minutes upon minutes even while management walks by saying someone will be with them, they'll be right back. That's not quality customer service.Also, in the parking lot, there should be a basket drop in the middle of the handicap park, I have helped several elderly out of their vehicles to a cart or brought them a cart so they could use it to walk inside.”

“The night manager Andre was very helpful, my brother had to bring a calendar for school and of course waited till 10:45 to tell me.(15 mins before close) I was having trouble finding the calendars and the time was already 10:55 so I called them and said I'm in the store and I need a calendar. Not only did Andre give me easy to understand instructions as to where they were located he also met me halfway there and walked me there himself. Highly recommend coming by, very pleasant staff, and always good discounts!!!! 5 stars”

“The food is delicious here, especially their plate lunches and breakfast off the steam table. My favorites are breakfast, fish and shrimp on Fridays and Chicken fried chicken on Thursdays and Sundays. I always refer to the breakfast as the “Kdan’s continental breakfast” because you can choose al carte. The bacon and the biscuits are my personal favorite for breakfast.”
