My family and I had a very disappointing experience at Palestine Toyota, and it ultimately cost them our business. We came in specifically for a used 2022 Toyota RAV4 and made that clear multiple times to the salesperson, Scott Smith. Despite that, the follow-up email he sent referenced a 2025 RAV4—something we never discussed. He never verified that the vehicle he pulled up on his computer was even the one we were there to see, and that basic oversight derailed the entire visit.
Because he was quoting numbers for the wrong vehicle, we were told we would need an unrealistic $10,000 down payment. Due to this miscommunication, they lost out on our business entirely, as we had another paid-off vehicle that could’ve helped make the deal work.
We understand that approval was difficult with our 1st trade-in vehicle we tried due to negative equity, but the misinformation and lack of attention to detail at Palestine Toyota made the entire situation worse. On top of that, we did not give them permission to run our credit unless it was on a paper we had supposedly signed and had no knowledge of.
The lack of transparency, failure to verify basic details, and overall communication breakdown wasted our time and cost them a sale, along with any future business from us. I cannot recommend this dealership based on our experience.

11/1 I'd Bryan college station is the place you want to go for the best way to deal. They were giving me 5,000 off MSRP and financing. I brought the printed out sticker to this dealership and they said they couldn't even get close to it. I was going up there to sign the paperwork I did all the preliminary and insurance tank the deal rates were just a little too high on insurance for me. As far as going to Tyler Toyota they just wanted to play a few games. I'll always come back here for service for all my vehicles though.
Okay let's talk service not sales. The service people were very polite upfront and honest.. do you hear me honest. After they go over the point inspection with you if something needed to be replaced they offer to do it then. And only offer to fix the stuff that needs to be fixing complete honesty. Prices were pretty fair. As far as communication yeah couldn't ask for anything better kept me up to date and etc. I took my wife's kira up there to get it check up. Definitely see them for oil changes as well.

My name is William Fuzi. If they can, they will rip you off! I purchased a used vehicle from them, and found out at the first oil change the car needed a radiator and a catalytic converter. How often does all of that happen in 3 months? Exactly one year and two months after purchasing the car from them, they told me the car they sold me for $12,000 was only blue booked for $1,500. So the car they sold me was worth less that the $1,700.00 extended warranty they sold me, that they wouldn't honor. They made a complete sucker out of this Disabled veteran.

Rick Berrones should be running the service department or next in line to run it if the current service manager leaves. He’s obviously doing a great job as well. This was BY FAR the absolute best experience I’ve EVER had at a dealership. It’s not even about what he was able to get covered under my warranties, it was about his willingness to search my policies and find what he could get covered. It’s usually the other way around! I do the leg work and have to fight for what’s right. Rick is top shelf. His customer service is next to none, he’s actually happy at work ( as a person who also deals in customer service) this is an admirable feat! I’m just so appreciative of people that are willing to make your experience the best possible! I actually went into this praying and asking Jesus for this transaction to be fair, even if that meant I had to pay for the work to be completed! I just wanted fair and I received beyond fair. I normally wouldn’t but I allowed the dealership to do additional work out of my pocket while it was there ONLY because Rick worked so hard to take care of me! I will only go through Rick from this day forward as this is how customer service is meant to be. Mr. Eldridge, I hope you read these because you have a diamond in the rough in that service department that makes people want to spend money there! Thanks Rick.
On a second much shorter note: Jason at the rental section of Toyota was also a delight to work with and worked with me on pricing and was Johnny on the spot on delivery. Such a great team here! I wish this facility held training sessions for all the other facilities around the greater Houston area!

I had a great experience working with Luis Rivas. He was very patient throughout the whole process and made selling my car easy and stress-free. Luis gave us a great deal compared to other dealers in the area, and I really appreciated his honesty and professionalism. I would definitely come back again to either sell or purchase a car from Luis. Highly recommend!

My wife was looking for a dependable second vehicle. After browsing through Palestine Toyotas website she was contacted by Scott Smith. He worked tirelessly, and enthusiasticly to find her the right vehicle, and the right deal. This was by far the best experience I've ever had purchasing a vehicle. I highly recommend that you contact Scott if your looking for a vehicle. My wife bought a great Honda CRV, and is very satisfied with it.

This dealership is awesome but wow, my salesman, Scott Smith, is TRULY second to none. He was knowledgeable about cars in general, perfectly polite, and LISTENED to my concerns and needs! People like him, and dealerships like this are what make the stress of car buying literally disappear. Can’t recommend them enough.

Just another stealership with a lot of fake reviews. Can't even keep inventory right. Checked on a car and they havent had it in 2 weeks. Still on the website for another 5 weeks before it was removed. Even will say they have the car and when get up there its not there. Place is just as worse as lithia dealers. Glad I never let them run any of my info.
Well by their reply shows they dont read. I dont give my info out till I go to buy. You keep your inventory up to date really thats a lie. Your own sales team admitted they dont even know because cars get transfered to athens with out them being told and not even removed from the site. I have gone up there several times looking for a car that your site said was on the lot and guess what not even there. Kept an eye on the inventory list and we'll guess what on there for over 5 weeks yet called still not there. Please lie to someone else stealership your run just as bad as lithia. Quit paying for reviews also just to keep the reviews up. Btw we can't help it your internet team is lazy and slow as a matter of fact if your not part of them go to your site then go find every car. We will wait because you can't. Now take your false crap somewhere else stealership
