I would like to say, if didn’t nobody help me Mr. Dan did everything he could to make sure that I had my transmission fixed. Everything was working well anything that was going on or any kind of questions that I may have had he made sure I understood what was going on I will recommend this company this man to anybody. It’s hard to find a great company especially with great people and great excellent customer service

Two separate occasions I've had issues here. Very poor communication and lots of broken timeframe promises. Had clutch & differential work done and was having issues with clunking with shifts afterwards, found the transmission mount bolts so loose that I was able to take them off by hand in my driveway. Very dangerous! Kept the car for over 1 month for that job.Shame on me for taking my car back to this place for a/c work. Kept my car again for over 5 weeks. After calling and being hung up on several times, provided excuse after excuse on why it was taking so long including: wrong parts ordered, too many corporate fleet vehicles coming in (I guess cash paying customers matter less ?♂️???), and not having the right equipment on hand. Only reason I didn't give 1 star because the A/C work did get done right the first time.Will not be returning to this shop. Look elsewhere!

I went to Aamco to get help with my Dodge Journey. I suspected it was an issue with my transmission. Dan did a free diagnostic for me and gave me great advice. I took it back to get the repair/replacement done and haven’t had any problems now after a month of having it back. The replacement took a couple days longer that we originally discussed due to going back and forth with the warranty company, which during that time Dan was in contact with me daily.He also did a 2 week follow up check for me for free to make sure there were no issues with the replacement. I’m glad I found this place.

DON’T DO BUSINESS HERE! Dan is a liar and they are scammers. Took my car here for repairs, was told I needed a transmission rebuild. I was quoted a ridiculous price and was told it would be done in 3 days. I agreed bc I felt AAMCO was a reputable company….boy was I wrong! Two weeks later I just told them I needed my car. Come to find out, they were stalling bc they messed multiple other things up in my car. So bad that my car doesn’t even run now. I’m out of so much money. I regret doing business with them and will warn any and everyone I know to stay away.

If I could give zero stars I would! Theeeee WORST experience I've ever had...correction am STILL having. Never again will I go to an AAMCO and I will tell anyone needing repair work done to go somewhere else. Even if it's going out of state to get it done, DO IT! Dan is the biggest liar! AAMCO has had my car for over a week claiming a part doesn't fit and they have "never seen a case like this before". When I took the police up there with me, come to find out THEY DONT EVEN HAVE THE PART and my car is in PIECES, literally. So a car that I drove up there to them, I can't even drive now. Let's start from the beginning(the short version)...I brought my car (which I was able to drive there) to the Pantego AAMCO on a Tuesday for the free transmission check. Dan contacted me on the following day, Wednesday, saying he needed to break down my whole transmission and quoted me $967.67 to do so. He sent a quote later that night including pictures (which probably wasn't even from my car) stating I needed pretty much a whole new rebuild and quoted me $4,700 for that to happen. He told me my car would be ready by Friday. I don't hear anything from him Friday. Saturday I call him and he says "your car should be ready in a couple hours". I drop my rental car off and head to AAMCO. When I get there he tells me it'll be a couple more minutes, the driver is putting a sensor and will have to drive the car and it'll be ready. Not only minutes but HOURS pass, within these hours Dan keeps coming in the waiting area every 10-15 mins reassuring me my car is almost ready. I finally tell him I have an appointment that I'm already late for and I have to leave. He tried to give me a car that wasn't even done saying "if you drive it the light wil go off". I told him for the amount of money I'm paying I need it to be fixed correctly before I take it. He said they were staying late after close and would for sure have my car ready for me on Monday. I UBER to my appointment and for the rest of the weekend since my rental car was turned in. Monday comes....no phone call all day. I finally call him and text. It took him forever to respond and when he does he tells me he wasn't in the office and he needed to call me back. He calls me back a couple minutes later telling me the ran into another problem with a part. It's not fitting like it should and they should have my car done in a couple hours. I wait the couple hours and finally have to call him again and he tells me that they never run into anything like this and they are working hard trying to fix the issue. I say so when is my car going to be ready...he tells me tomorrow for sure. I wait for tomorrow (which is Tuesday, 7days from when I took my car to them). He calls me in the morning and says, we'll have your car ready between noon and 2 today. Noon comes...1 comes and goes...2 comes and goes....I finally call an Uber and make a trip up to AMCO to see what is really going on. I get there and my car is in literal pieces. There's no way my car was going to be ready. I tel Dan I want my car and I'm taking it to someone who is really going to fix it. He says "we can't do that, that's impossible bc it'll take hours for us to put it together ". I was like but you told me my car was going to be ready hours ago. So I called the police. Dan even lied to the police. He told the cop the parts were there and that they were trying to put them in. Towards the end of the meditation, Dan says "we're waiting on a part to come and once it gets here, we'll repair the car" the cop says "you told me everything was here already!" Dan says "we'll part of it is, we're waiting in another piece" I said I'm ready to just tow my car. The cop relays the message to Dan (the cop is the mediator at this point bc Dan went out in the shop) The cop comes back and says he will come and give you two estimates...1 with the new parts he already put

Dan is a absolute liar!!!!! Anything he told me was false. He originally told me with all the confidence in the world, No problem it will be 2-3 days and $4,800.00. 35 days later with the total invoice of $9,760.74 I picked up my truck and it was still inoperable I could not drive a mile down the Highway. Of course Dan said after reassuring me the two times before that they fixed the problem. YOU WILL REGRET DROPPING YOUR VEHICLE OFF AT THIS PLACE FOR REPAIRS. Called and spoke with the manager about getting my transmission fluid and filter changed. He gave me a quote. I said I would bring in my vehicle Wednesday . He said see you soon. I get and was asked if I was dropping off my vehicle. I said no I'm going to wait. He informed me it would take 3 freaking hours. Ha 3 hours to put the vehicle on a rack drop the pan change the filter add new fluid??? I don't think so!

Dan was great to work with. GM could not figure out what was wrong with "their" car and this staff stepped right on in to get the job done. Within a week, I had a new transmission and was back on the road. I appreciate them all.Service: Transmission

Diagnostically accurate, honest and great customer service. They seem to have enough repeat business and are busy enough that it might take a little longer to get your repair done, but they are worth the wait. Their work is high quality, their prices are fair and they don't try to sell you work that you don't need. We will happily do more business with them going forward.Service: Transmission

Horribly experience it’s been in the shop since January and it’s still not fixed. Paid the invoice of $4,700 in February and they still giving excuses of why it’s not ready. Looking for a lawyer I’m beyond upset.

Update 2/15/23.I had to bring my F150 back less than a week after it was repaired las it broke down on Pioneer. Had it towed back. 2 weeks + have gone by and I get no updates unless I call and every promise I hear falls through. I understand there's an owner of this and 2 other locations named Jason (it appears he has replied to some of these reviews). I've called all 3 of his stores trying to reach this guy. No one will give me his number and No response back from him. $6400 is what I paid to have my transmission rebuilt and I've yet to hear from this guy. Call me Jason, Dale in Pantego has my number....Service: Transmission
