Don't come here trying to buy anything, the CHILD that was scheduled that night was not mentally stable to be doing the job. Unprofessional is an understatement.She was on her phone the whole time, then got a text from God knows who, got upset and started slamming things on the floor.Just so you know I'm not lying check your cameras cuz she does not need to have this job if she is that mentally unwell

Had issues with my console overheating so my wife went to buy a upgraded model as a surprise for my birthday. When I received it I realized the employees had actually sold her a downgraded used model. When I asked her about it she said they had wanted her to bring the old console in so they could "refurbish" it and resell it. I will never do business here again. Just because people may not know the difference between different consoles or games should not mean they should be taken advantage of. Two stars because the store did refund our money back after a brief argument with the employee at the register.

Warning: Don't buy people gifts from this store, especially consoles. They only allows 15 days for returns or exchanges... So if you buy somebody a gift more than 15 days before you give it to them, they will treat the item as a used trade-in instead of a return, Even if the item is brand new and unused. 15 days is a fraction of the amount of time allowed for returns by just about any other national chain, including Walmart (30 days), Amazon (30 to 90 days), and Target (30 days).A big item like a console is in an investment, and there are a lot of options that can be confusing for people who aren't super tech savvy. If you buy your loved one the wrong version of something from GameStop, you're out of luck.When we ran into this situation recently, the employee we spoke with about the situation in question offered no understanding or sympathy. Since I have no way of knowing how much flexibility GameStop corporate offers its employees in regards to how this policy is enforced, I'm not going to blame them for that--but a little kindness goes a long way in situations like this and instead we were met with a brick wall. I really don't like leaving a bad review for a local business, but the bad taste left in my mouth from this experience needed an outlet.The bottom line is, if you're at all unsure about a purchase, don't give these people your money. You won't get it back.

I've always had a great experience with the GameStop in Paris Tx. They always remember my name and what stuff my family is interested in. I always enjoy talking with them about playing games, Funko pops, and cool pre order stuff. I picked up my Hogwarts PS5 today and can't wait to play it. Even got lucky and found The Evil Within part 1 I've been looking for. Keep up the good work guys.

I visited Game Stop Tuesday 1/10/23. I was hoping to purchase a Micro SD Card. I was shown two items and they were not what I needed. "If you open a microSD after purchase and it is the wrong item Game Stop will not accept it back".I have bought a few things at this business in the past and was pleased with my purchases. Always ask questions and double check and verify before purchasing. I'm giving four stars because of the return policy.

I have been a long time customer at the Paris, Texas GameStop for 7 years and I spend thousands of dollars a year but here recently custome service has been really terrible. An employee whose name is Bailey is really rude and doesn't know how to provide customer service. I have been there recently to pick up games I have preordered and the last 3 times she tells me she doesn't have the time to look for them. I tried to exchange something that I have bought a extended warranty and she refuses to do the exchange and stands there and insults me and asking me insulting questions. I have complained to the manager Gabby and she takes Bailey's side.Thankfully corporate office is doing my return for me because I called and complain. I will never shop there again

While yes the store had what I was looking for. While there a customer asked about senior discounts and the male employee stated "we only offer military and I dont see why" as a Veteran I personally have never asked for a discount there. However, as the employee its not his place to add his 2 scents its his job to fallow the companies guidelines. It was extremely discouraging to here the employee speak like this those Veterans are the one who make it possible for him to speak like that.

So we came to Paris, TX want to win today to do some game shopping during their clearance special. The two employees in the store were working very hard to organize and get the store looking great and you can tell that their work was really paying off cuz it was really easy to find when I was looking for. I found quite a lot of copies of games I was looking to buy. But there was one that I couldn't find out there so I went and talked to the lady at the counter and sure enough she pulled up in a drawer of all clearance games and was more than happy to point out what she had. I could tell she was having a rough day and I told her I appreciate it all the help. Unfortunately as we left the store and went down the road we realized that the games in the Nintendo switch cases were not in there. We went back to the store and instead of them giving us the common opened but new games from GameStop the lady gave us brand new sealed versions of the games we bought. This was something that she didn't have to do and shows outstanding customer service. After leaving the store again I felt compelled to go back inside and spoke to the lady that kind of one more time. She is the manager of the store and her name is Gabby. Again I could tell she was having a rough day. So I told her that her and the other lady in the store were doing a great job and to keep her chin up. It was at that moment I realized that she was also the manager for the store in Mount pleasant. Overall if you want to go to a GameStop but not only has an organized layout but has great management and customer service you can't go wrong at this location. I cannot thank Gabby enough for her help and understanding and hope that her day gets much better.

This used to be a good place to shop until here recently. Today I came to pick up a preorder and the cashier told me she don’t have the time to look for it and didn’t even offer to do anything about it. I asked to get my money back and she wouldn’t do it.This is the 4th time it has happened. If you pre order something don’t expect to get it on release day

That place is a joke and very unprofessional my brother went in on 5-31-2022 with a Xbox one to sell and the offed him $80 Said he would like to think about it they said that was fine went back to sell it the next day 6-1-2022 the assistant manager as soon as we asked about sellin it got real offensive and acting weird we had no power cord or controller came out of a storage unit but took it to a friends house that has a Xbox one to make sure it works and it does they didn even want to test it told him what the guy said from the day before he acted like I was crazy will not be back hope the store closes it’s doors for good !!!

Bought 1300 doors worth of console games and headphones and the guy in dreads sold us a Playstation only headset for the 2 Xbox we got talked a lot wanted to argue about the stuff we knew were facts just looks like a total try hard I know everything you know nothing we brought the Playstation headset back for warranty because mic wouldn't work kind worker short hair with glasses gave us a pleasant experience didn't talk our ears off or anything and explained why the mic didn't work we bought an Xbox one from him
