Tell me you don't care about your customers without telling me you don't care for your customers. Shh..they cut your review. Put my review back up publicly!If you are on a limited income do NOT bank here. Deposit money and still get a charge a overdraft fee because even its on the same day...its not the same business day. Even though it showed a positive amount when you deposited it. Aww. However they are within their rights, the fee may have been processed prior to your deposit and its the customer's responsibility to ensure the account is maintained efficiently. Even though a business withdrew from your account without your permission. Basically all traditional banks motto is 'we serve you but bend over.' Online banks or banking services are the way to go. I will be changing banks soon.

Great bank and great service. When a scammer tried to steal from us the bank personal jumped in to put a stop to it. The staff was very professional and easy to work with.

They charge $5 to cash checks written on their own bank. If this is suppose to encourage people to open an account with them it has had the opposite effect on me. I would never open an account with them. I'm giving them 2 stars because their staff is very nice.

Put a 980 check in the bank two weeks ago, there was money in my bank when I put that check in. Paid my bills, got groceries, gas, etc...days later all charges cleared. I went to bed with hundreds of dollars in the bank and woke up to a 600.00+ overdraft. Every charge I made after depositing the check, charges that had already cleared were suddenly no longer cleared. I had about 10 over draft fees and hundreds of dollars missing from my account. I don't use over draft protection, there is NO WAY to have hundreds of dollars in over drafts for an account with no overdraft protection. The debit charges simply don't go through. Not a single person thus far has been able to tell me where our money went and the person that could has yet to return my calls. Though the two people I have spoken to agree that said overdraft should not be possible!!! I am 100% positive they had some sort of computer glitch or human error that nobody is copping to but I would really like this sorted out. Until the problem is dealt with I will make sure to tell everyone that I know to avoid this bank at all costs. Which is a real shame as my family has been using them for 25 years!

If you bank here, I sincerely wish you the best of luck, if you dont, then dont. Just remember they are doing you a service by allowing you to bank with them, dont complain as you owe them for the privilege of banking there.After banking here for over ten years with not one overdraft or problem, we suddenly started having problems with my bank card and the fraud protection we did not request nor approve but rather was forced on us. My card kept closing due to fraud, banks excuse was I live to far from the bank. Odd because my wifes card never had one problem. I think we can all see through that.We complained and some...employee (best I could do) was literally crying in the office of the VP of Marketing, dont see how marketing has ANYTHING to do with accounts, but ok. Our accounts get closed, not by us.I filed for the change of direct deposit with the Veterans Administration and Social Security, but they need 30-45 days to process. They payments went to this bank and were returned. Now I have to wait for the updates, then request the deposits be made after I receive notification the updates have been made. Additional week to the process. I wanted to thank this bank for causing the financial crisis of scrambling to deal with utilities, rent, and figuring out how we will buy food until this gets straight. With all the banking crisis happening, throwing away an account of that age and standing, truly arrogant.I draw my deposits being 100% totally and permanently disabled veteran, so I guess I should say you are welcome for my service, thank you for yours.

They have been so helpful to my family and I!New to TX and had to open several accounts and Mareli was great in opening savings accounts for my 6 kids.Also, I didn't realize that the lobby closed at 3pm weekdays and needed a cashier's check. they were gracious to me and let me in anyway and helped me to get a cashier's check to go buy my new car!Also very helpful notarizing some forms for my kids to start school!Thank you Guaranty Bank for being awesome and putting the customer first!

No fees if you go paperless for standard checking account and the variety of backgrounds you can choose free of charge for your debit card are many, over 50

I have tried calling three times today people keep picking up and hanging up all because my fiancé was told that there wouldn't be a overdraft fee. He was telling the lady what he was told and he was mad but he didn't go out of line the lady then decided to hang up on him and instead of talking to him I understand if she didn't want to talk to him and could have sent his call else where but she decided to hang up and he has tried to call back to figure things but she keeps hang up the phone when she answers it if I could give them zero stars I would because that is disrespectful to their customers. They could really trust their customers with respect I will not be going to this bank anymore after what my fiancé just went through I rather move my bank account else where then deal with rude people here.

It’s kind of early to be writing a review about my experience with Guaranty Bank and Trust. They asked me to write a review but it’s only been two days since I opened my account. Since it’s only been two days I’m only gonna give four stars even though I’ve had no problems so far. Ms. Wolfe, the extremely nice, and helpful lady who helped me open my account gets five stars!
