I struggled with writing this, because I don’t like being hateful or mean in any way, but if I can help others avoid what I experienced that’s the least I can do. I changed to Paris family physicians this last year for primary care. I attended what I thought was going to be my annual wellness exam earlier in the year. I recently noticed that my insurance checklist was showing my wellness exam was not satisfied. So I called the office to ask if this could be adjusted. I called 2 days in a row before I was told the office manager was on vacation and would contact me this week. I waited until Wednesday, July 9, to call back. During the phone call, I was put on hold— or so they thought. I could hear their conversation in the background. I heard comments of “I told her this” and “why is she calling again?” I honestly knew at that time that they were already done with me and had no desire to assist me. Then they finally hung up on me and so I called back to be told the office manager was in a meeting and would call me back.
I decided to call my insurance company while I was waiting to determine my options for maintaining my insurance discount. I had told the office when I scheduled and during my appointment that I needed an annual wellness exam for my insurance. I made the comment multiple times. When visiting with my insurance, the representative advised me to ask them to resubmit the billing. Finally the office manager called me back and was immediately abrasive. She had no desire to help me. When I told her that the insurance advised me to ask them to resubmit the claim, she told me that it was insurance fraud and they won’t do that. So then I told her I needed to file a complaint, and she responds “Well, I am the office manager, so you’ll be speaking to me.” I finally admitted defeat at this time, indicated I will seek a more formal complaint process and ended the call. Nobody even attempted to rectify this situation or take any ownership. I was just another dollar sign of a patient for them.
I know I may get push back, as I know many of the Paris elite go to this office, but everybody needs to be aware you have to advocate for the services you need and that is going to include being able to read and interpret the sheet they give you upon checkout.

This is this first clinic we choose when we moved into town. I honestly expected more.. my husband has been dealing with chest pain and stomach issues. He was seen 2 weeks ago or so… nothing was done ect. That’s not why im upset, im upset because when I called Monday to schedule a checkup because he’s DR. Said he could come back if he had any issues. The person who schedules appointment made is know “why would he need to come back he was just here. Umm idk “it’s a doctors office and he’s still sick!” ??♀️
She stated he didn’t hace anything available she’s put he down for Thursday. We’ll guess what Thursdays today, & no appointment was set. This clinic needs to hire a new receptionist, a new voice for their Clicic. No one will feel comfortable going there with little to no effort!

When my Dr. retired (who I loved dearly), I was so afraid to begin a new relationship with a new doctor and facility. At the time, my family were all going to Paris Family Physicians and so I transferred to them. I have been so impressed with the Drs., the nurses and the back-office staff. Everyone is so friendly and caring....just the place you would want to go with your important health issues! I would not hesitate to recommend!

I have been a patient of Dr. Trammell's for the past five years. During that time, he and his excellent staff have proven to be consistently kind, trustworthy, knowledgeable, hardworking and available when an emergency occurs. Unlike some physicians, Dr. Trammel takes the time to listen to me. On numerous occasions after 6 or 7pm, I have received calls from Dr. Trammell's staff with test results, reminders or instructions about my on-going care. I trust Dr. Trammell because, there, I'm treated like FAMILY. I am abundantly blessed to be under their care.

I been with Dr Trammell for years and I really like his nurse Heather helped me the other day with a problem I had with my husband.. The phone lady’s are the best, thanks a lot for all y’all’s help..

This clinic has provided my care for as long as I can remember. Dr. Trammel is my provider, but I would feel comfortable seeing any of these providers. I am grateful for this office and all of their staff.

This clinic is devoted to patient care! From the time you walk in, until you leave you are treated like family. The doctors are all very knowledgeable, are patient and have a great bedside manner. They take the time to do the necessary testing to come up with the proper diagnosis and treatment plan. We recently moved here, leaving our long time pcp and our children’s pediatrician. After unhappy with a local pedi in town, we scheduled our son with Dr. Pauls at this clinic and loved him! He took the time to do a real examination on him to determine why he was having chest pain, then spent time explaining in detail his diagnosis. He discussed treatment options that would be best for my son specifically which was effective and have had no issues since then! He is now our pcp and pediatrician for our entire family! Highly recommend!
