I use to really like this bank. Ive been banking with them for a while and I am a regular, never had an issue before until I came across Vicky Martinez. She has bad customer service and wanted to place my checks on hold when I am a regular customer coming in with a check from a previous customer. First she stated that I had never deposited from this customer and then she said that it wouldnt matter and it would still be placed on hold. Ruthless, nonsense never seen her before in this location. Bad customer service.

I used to work some years back in this bank and I was once approached by one of the financial advisor, mentioning to me that they were able to help me out with my financial stability. Couple years later I came back to that financial advisor, Maria Faust, and she was able to turn around whole financial stability around, and has done a great job at guiding me and helping me throughout this new journey.

Update: LOOK AT THEIR FACEBOOK REVIEWS. Was previous 5 star rated, was excited to use Amegy. Now MARIA BROWN AND MARIA FAUST have blocked me not only from using my money deposited (PHYSICAL CASH), but they blocked my access to online banking completely.YOU CANNOT TREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS WHEN YOU DONT LIKE THEM. I will have to report this.THEYRE HOLDING MY CASHIERS CHECK for 10 days

Just went in to deposit a check and the employees were too busy to help me. They were busy singing Happy Birthday and Feliz Cumpleanos. I think they should be doing such things after hours or not at all. This is a bank not a Chuck E. Cheese.

After Banking at Amegy Bank for almost 10 years I am closing my accounts and I have filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Federal Reserve. I've had several loans through this branch, have never had a transaction declined, I have a Amegy credit card that has never had a late payment. My credit score is over 700.
