I am going to be honest they do not deserve even a one-star rating. Let's start off with how everything seemed fine at the beginning. I got the online locked in price of 130 give or take for a 10 x 15. After several months they tagged on an extra 20 to bump it up to 150. Alright fine I get it. They did tag on another 50 or so which brought everything up to 230. It stayed there for about a year I believe until only 2 months ago when I was charged 273. I did not get notice email, no reason, or anything about this sudden increases. That is only part of the reason.
Since day one at this place there has been something broken or wrong. Gate not opening, system breach, doors broken, and the lights in the hallways not turning on. Like what the hell are you doing with the nearly 300 a month you're charging me for because it's clearly not keeping the place going. Like anyone can just walk in and steal peoples belongs because the doors are slightly open and won't close.
Don't get me started on the actual employees because they are horrible. You cannot get a hold of them for any reason. When my code was not working one time I called and called for hours with no answer. Another time my app was not opening the gate and a employee was standing outside speaking with someone. I kindly waited for him to be done so I could inform him about it, but he just brushed me off talking about he can't give me a code and to use my own. First of I was going to punch it in I am not dumb. I was only wanting to inform him of it in case someone hadn't already. Red Flag there.
Same day same employee. I was at my storage unit looking for something, so I moved things out and they were in the hallway in front of my unit. This employee came around talking about we can't do that. I told him whatever, because yet I was upset with him. So, he went on to threaten me with kicking us out. Like excuse me. I went on to tell him about how he treated up and still he was cutting me off and would not listen to me when I was trying to explain to him, I was not asking him for anything I was just trying to inform him about the app not working with the gate. I asked for the managers number, and he said he was the manager. Like what!!! and this is how you act to your paying customers. I then asked for corporate or aera manger, whoever was above him. He said he can't give out that number I could only speak with him. Red Flag! In what company do you deny your customers the right to call someone above you so might they express their concerns? My sister said something around that time which he said he heard and not only threaten to evict us but to tag on an extra 100 to our bill for the month.
They also do not keep the place clean at all. I have seen roach eggs and stuff in the unit. So, there is that issue.
So yea it's safe to say I am not happy with this place. You would think they were good with all the reviews and given they have so many around town. Not to mention are rather well known.
So, no I would not store my belonging with them ever again nor would I recommend them to others.

Roach infested. They do not clean the bathrooms to where trash piles up so bad and over flows and smells like feces and piss. Elevators do not work half the time and then people are stuck on the upper floor.

Worst experience ever I would never rent a unit from here again. If I could rate this place with ZERO STARTS I would. I want to start off by saying I specifically wanted an ac controlled unit. The first time I went to go get belongings that I needed I was sweating there was no ac on ! It is very inconvenient I trust that there would be ac so my belongings don’t get ruined. I then schedule a move out. The day after I moved I received a call from a rude worker stating that i come up pick up what I left or I would get charged a $250 fine for leaving something that was NOT mine. I left my unit empty and nothing behind. I had no choice but to go pick it up because the worker would not try to resolve that the tv stand that was left behind was not mine. worst experience ever !!

Where do I even begin. This is the first time I ever rented a storage unit. I don’t think anyone has had this much trouble for a storage unit. For one when I got the storage unit, I didn’t realize that there was a whole other business next door. When I had a whole moving truck during the public storage business hours, nobody was there at first to help me out when my code didn’t work. The employee drove into the parking lot and sat in her car. I knocked on her door to see if she could help me because I had movers who were on a time schedule just waiting. She got out of her car and told me she was at the other location that’s why nobody was there and looked up my account and told me it was the next facility over. Secondly after maybe 3-4 months of having the storage, they raised my rate $40 more. When I got a call from the manager asking why I wanted to leave my storage unit I told her about the price and she did lower it. Third, I was completely inconvenienced trying to retrieve the rest of my stuff because my code didn’t work. I would use the app and it would open the gate but then it wouldn’t open the doors. Fourth, when my code wasn’t working and finally got a hold of the front desk I had to drive all the way back to the first facility since it’s a couple of blocks before the second facility (if you drove it you would understand the frustration especially since the beltway feeder is down to one lane) just to get a temporary code. The next week I used my temporary code because my code still didn’t work, but my temporary code didn’t work either. I called public storage corporation and got another temporary code but still didn’t work. Now my fifth final complaint, when I called corporate for the temporary code that didn’t work they transferred me to the property manager. She was nice enough to give me a discount but then talked to me like I was stupid because she didn’t understand how my app opened the gate but didn’t open the doors. I told her I used my original code and the temporary one and it didn’t work. She then told me the temporary codes have all been deleted because of the lock code box issue. She talked to me like I was suppose to know that or something. And proceeded to tell me after talking to me like I don’t know what I’m doing, that the doors should be open because the code lock box is broken. When she told me to pry open the doors to get in because they’re supposed to be open was the absolute final straw. How safe do you think your stuff is when you can pry open the doors to the facility??? At least it was clean I guess. Only when they cleaned up other peoples junk by the doors they leave out after a week.

I only had my unit for a few months, but I was very pleased with it. I never experienced pests, the building was always a good temperature, and clean. Today I moved my stuff out and Jenifer made checking out quick and easy. I will definitely use public storage in the future if I ever need storage again.

Do not rent a storage unit here found so many tiny roaches in my items! After renting for two years with the previous owners and come to find roaches in my storage unit! Ridiculous!

Really a great spot to store your stuff for a little bit or a long time and they really work with you at least they did with me during the loss of my job during covid they had every right to sell my unit but they did work with me to make sure I was able to keep my stuff so thank you public storage for not being like other places that love to auction off your unit disregarding that inside is slot of personal stuff and memory's of someone's life

Very nice and clean and very affordable, my unit is inside climate controlled like all of the. Units at this location are but my mom has a outside unit 2 miles down the street same size and pays a lot more then i do
