I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my experience here was disappointing enough that I feel compelled to share.
I came in with a clearly defined shipping need: a lightweight kite that needed a long, narrow package. I was initially glad to find a tube in the store, but the staff member strongly discouraged me from using it, insisting a box would be cheaper, despite my concerns that the box size would make shipping expensive.
Following her recommendation, I purchased bubble wrap for another item that would have bounced around in this huge box, and I spent time carefully packing everything, only to be told afterward that the box would cost well over $100 to ship (not including packaging materials,) which is exactly what I was trying to avoid. I then repacked the item myself into the tube (which the same employee had discouraged), had to remove the bubble wrap that was initially suggested since it wouldn’t fit, and then asked for a new quote. It came out to over $60, but that was separate from the tube/bubble wrap which would have come to around $75ish. I said I’ll just take the tube and ship it elsewhere and yet, I was still charged for the bubble wrap I couldn’t even use and never needed in the first place.
I understand policies around opened packaging, but this felt more like a bait-and-switch. The employee was friendly on the surface, but the advice given cost me time, effort, and money unnecessarily. There was no acknowledgment of the mistake or attempt to make things right.
I ended up shipping the item elsewhere where the experience was smooth, honest, and exactly as quoted, about $20.
I’d recommend anyone needing specialty shipping go elsewhere, preferably to a location that listens first and charges fairly.

The caucasian woman with short hair helped me find 2 boxes to put together to fit 2 scooters I needed to return. She put them together and packed them for me. She seemed to know everything about the place and could answer any questions I had. Both women were nice. Great experience

Cori, Enrique and Tammy were extremely helpful, kind, patient, attentive and knowledgeable in helping me print out my presentation. I love going to Fedex because there is always great employees that have the patience to make the customer their priority. I will continue to come to this location and recommend it to all of my colleagues. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

If I could rate 0 I would .I never ever come to this overly expensive FedEx store the nerve to charge $12 for a simple small letter for ground. I will always go UPS and U.S. Postal. I will never even look at FedEx. Too over charge me $12 for simple ground shipping small letter ✉️. This place is a rip off.

I dropped off a return package at the Office Depot desk and didn't get ANY receipt or paperwork. When I asked for a receipt the guy behind the counter said I had a return shipping label taped to the package and that was all I needed. While I was still objecting the Fed-Ex guy came in and he handed him the package (two rugs taped together the way I received it.) I got NO paperwork from Office Depot or Fed-Ex.I was only credited for 1 rug from the return, costing me over $100. Since I had no shipping paperwork, to document my return, the rug company would not reimburse me. Thanks Office Depot for hiring an incompenentnincompoop.
