I placed an online order for a Squier bass and was shipped from California. I was informed that it was on the floor for customers to use and had some wear on it but was told that I could switch it out for a new one in Houston if I wasn't satisfied. Santiago greeted me and my family with great spirit and was more than happy to help! We took a look at the bass ordered online and asked if we would be able to switch it out and he said no problem. We found one that was better and started the refund process for store credit. Adam was also attending us and helping with the swap process and ended giving a 10% discount for the new bass missing some knobs, new bass being the last one in stock, and having a few scratches here and there! They did all of this while helping other customers as well with respect as well! If you need help with anything, these guys are the go to's!

I just wanted to make it known what my experience in the store in Pasadena on Fairmont. I have been here over a dozen times. I literally look and touch anything I can. No one and I mean not one person has ever even spoken to me. Not a hello not a see you later nothing. Until today a gentleman by the name of Leonard came to me in the keyboard room. He told me there giving a free few mins of lessons right now. I must of thrown 50 questions at him and shown him 5 of my songs. Not once did he rush me or treat me like anything other than a musician. It's nothing to anyone else but today was one of the worst days of my life until then. I can't change that I'm a skinny white guy who looks like a criminal but the saying goes never judge a book by its cover. A dozen times of spending hours in this store feeling like the guy they just know is a waste of there time. Please give this man the shout out and admiration he deserves. A 15 min conversation saved a life today literally. Thank u again Leonard for treating me like a human.

I love this place bc they have a huge selection of music equipment and the employees are knowledgeable & professionally casual, not to mention you can try out the gear. They also have one on one sessions to learn how to play..

This place is great. The keyboard section is my daughter's favorite area as well as the drum chamber! Awesome place and awesome ,nice staff. DJ's and all of those with music in their DNA welcome.

I went in to sell a lightly used instrument and the manager at the time Sarah was a huge help. She was very patient and informative, she had to call the specific shop the instrument from and wait for a call back to be able to buy it. Taking the time to help and inform me of what was going on every step of the way. Rather buying or selling i would recommend going here for the fantastic service and chill environment. 10/10

Came in to trade in an acoustic for and electric and Ema (not sure how to spell his name, sorry!) and Adam were really helpful and humble. They informed well on the types of electrics and recommended me a good amp. Thanks for all the help :)

This is the one of most unorganized and dirtiest guitar centers I’ve ever entered into. All the stock is done all over the floor there’s no price tags on anything nothing makes sense. I saw that they had a snare drum in stock I came to look at. I’ve washed my hands three times before I even left the building. Go anywhere else for your music needs ??

I received a couple of emails from the GC Main Office in California promising I would hear from the store. I never did. I cannot recommend doing business with this company.

The place was very nice atmosphere. They will let you play instruments before purchase.. no five-star because of prices . I would still recommend..

I would recommend not using lessons here. Mostly because canceling is hard and getting a refund is hard. If you do, make sure you tell management not the instructor that you want to stop. Otherwise they will bill you. Also send it in writing to their email that you want to quit.
