I bought a custom made pair of boots. First effort they would not even come close to fitting. They tried to fix and went back again and they still would not fit. Then they said wrong skin came in & more delays. After two months of trying to work with them - I have given up and asked for a refund which have refused to give. They are incompetent

I had a pair of boots to be relasted, to make them fit me. For context, I wear a 6 or 6.5; small, but not unusually so. I was told a relast could take up to 3 1/2 weeks. Took the boots in on January 2, got my feet measured, and left them to be transformed.I waited a month to be sure, and checked. They weren’t ready. Two months. They were done! But when I tried them, they were almost comically too big. Two or three sizes too big at least; there was no earthly way they could be worn.So I shipped them back, along with a pair that fit me well as a reference. They arrived on March 24, almost three months after I dropped them off, to be started over.On April 7th I requested an update. I was told they would be ready in two weeks. Two weeks came and went. I asked again, and was told they would be done May 2.They were not done May 2. At long last, they finally shipped on May 18.They arrived. And despite the reference pair I sent, not to mention the measurements way back in January, the stupid boots are STILL. TOO. BIG.Here’s the bottom line. Do not expect any kind of timeline from Pasadena Custom Boots. Expect to be told 3 1/2 weeks, and instead wait five months. Expect to be told date after date after date, only for each one to pass with nothing, and perhaps with the boots not even started, much less finished. And if you would like your custom boots to fit you when they’re done, well, you may or may not get that; it’s a toss-up, even after two tries.

I bought a pair of handmade caiman belly boots off the shelf from a big name store. They fit well at first but after a few weeks they loosened up to the point where they were uncomfortably loose. I brought them here, my feet were measured and the boots were completely rebuilt to match the measurements (insole, welt, outsole, heel) and now they fit perfectly. Price was reasonable compared to a couple of other shops in Houston I looked at for a similar rebuild ($250). Close to what I would have lost compared to the original price if I had sold the boots as used on eBay or FB marketplace. Turn around time was much shorter than anywhere else - these were done in a week and a half, and all other shops were quoting repair times of 4-8 weeks.

There's a handicapped elderly person I am tired of continually coming to this Walmart and never having a handicapped basket available. This is my third time in one month and not one of the baskets that's electric is charged one has a broken plug and they have done nothing about it in two months. Also right now the womens handicapped stall is closed because it's broken.

My family and I have been to this Boot Repair shop several times now for various reasons. My last experience was very unpleasant. I had a pair of my Christian Louboutin sole’s sealed and was charged $70 which seemed pretty unreasonable considering I had taken another paid of my Louboutin a few months prior and was charged $40. I still paid for the service but did mention I was charged $40 last time. I called several locations in the Houston area to ask for pricing, the highest being $40 in the heights area. The owner did call me and ask what the problem was and admitted he was charging $55 typically but decided to charge me $70 due to him wanting to change prices soon. I was very upset yet respectful and explained that the increase in price was unreasonable and I was only charged due to my appearance. The price increase from $40-$70 seemed very unreasonable especially for the service and the location of the shop. My family and I will not be returning due to the unfairness and inconsistency of prices.

I have a very nice pair of dress Cayman belly Lucchese that split on one toe. I called and a very friendly woman told me the procedure and the price. The repair took less than a week. I have new rubber sole, and the split on the toe it's barely visible. Great Quality work and polite people! It's a 30 minute drive but I'll make it again and again, you should too

One pair of boots that had sole work done was returned to me without any edge finish. Boot sole edge completely unprotected. Today picked up boots that I asked to be stretched in length. Width of boots stretched completely disproportionately. Boots will now have to be re-lasted. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
