I was charged an extra $10 without my knowledge. There was no heads up prior to the haircut. My hair was cut too short but I will not blame the woman, my husband was supposed to help me with the length and did not do his job well. I'm just upset I was blindsided with an extra $10 for a haircut I do not like.
Update:
I thought the ends would look better after my hair dried and they do not. It is thick and not tapered off to look natural. I dislike my haircut very much.

Chesley Fossier is the best stylist she has a way of turning you from drab and tired to fab and awake! This isn’t just a hair salon this is where you go when how you look matters. When you need to cloak yourself in confidence this is the place!!!

I have been going to Altered Images for haircuts since I was a toddler and my mom has been going there longer than that. We were there for their promotional event where they advertised to my mom and I that they were offering a complimentary makeup and a complimentary blowout with a purchase of a service (a facial). My mom booked her facial for the day of and her esthetician told the front desk worker to book my mom and I for the blowout and makeup. Our appointments were pushed back on the schedule significantly, but I was still able to have a blowout around 12 (an hour before the event ended). As soon as I was finished with my blowout (which was around 12:40), my mom’s esthetician talked to the makeup artist and told her that I was next. The makeup artist, in a conversation with a stylist, said she needed to use the restroom before continuing so I didn’t intrude to allow her time. I sat waiting until 1:30 when 2 blonde women behind the desk ask me what service I was waiting for. I (an almost 19 year old) said I was waiting to get my complimentary makeup done only to be told that they were never doing complimentary makeup. I decided to wait for my mom to come out and when she did she asked one of the blonde women as well as another front desk worker that had just started her shift. My mom was then told by both women that they were doing complimentary makeup and that it ended at 1pm. The employee that had just started her shift said that she would try to figure it out while my mom got her blowout. The employee asked around and came to the conclusion that I would have to reschedule because they didn’t have anyone trained for makeup at the time, but did not come up to me to tell me and instead waited for my mom to be done. I was unable to reschedule though because I have to leave for college on Saturday. My mother was never given the opportunity to participate in the raffle due to the fact that they stopped it before she was able to converse with the vendors participating in the scavenger hunt aspect of the raffle because Altered Images pushed back her appointments until after 1. All in all our hairstylist was a lovely person and was prepared to do my makeup if needed, but the front staff was very contradictory and treated me as less than because I was younger. They clearly didn’t know how to handle this event which was very disappointing. As a loyal customer, I can say that I’m deeply disappointed and think that I will just be getting haircuts instead of their other services.

Don’t walk, RUN to Altered Images in Friendswood and ask for Anastasia! She is a literal miracle worker and artist, cannot possibly say enough about her work. BEST blowout you’ll ever get, I swear by it.

Every single staff member here has been so polite, eager to help and very knowledgeable. This was mine and my husband's first time here and I can assure you, we WILL be coming back! This time we only came in for hair cuts and color (me), but learned about all of the other amazing services offered and I can't wait to try them! Thank you to the whole staff especially Michelle (who did my hair) & Jeana (who did my husbands) & lastly Lori who answered my 100 questions.
