This hotel was surprisingly comfortable and quiet. I stayed here for two nights while my sister had a surgery performed. When I pulled up I have to admit I was a little scared of the location but it was a safe place that seems to be frequented mostly by business travelers and out of town laborers. I would stay here again if it was necessary for me to visit that area again.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, quiet place to stay. Located right next to Walmart, a restaurant, gas station and donut shop, easy walking distance from many other stores.

Pet owners DO NOT stay here. We travel all the time with our dog. Even after paying all the deposits for our dog, we were told our dog wasn't allowed to be there alone, it we weren't in the room. They followed me to my car to see our miniature schnauzer to see if he could be there. Also, front desk very sketchy. They told me my payment declined though Expedia even after me telling them the card they were saying denied wasn't mine and showed them it came out of my bank. They wanted to charge me again. We had friends staying same weekend who had an identical experience. Same situation with their dog and also told their card denied. Steer clear from here if you are traveling with a pet and want to feel comfortable during your stay. Terrible

Bad communication- checked in early in the morning due to traveling purposes.The clerk told us nothing about check out time. WAs awoken at 11 basically telling us we had to checkout in the next 2 hours then when asked can I get my partial payment back I was told no even though we weren’t even there for a full 7 hours in the midst of just going back to my room to collect my belongings we came across a FLYING ROACH coming from the bathtub and then FLEW TO THE BED. I’m so disgusted because me and my husband are regulars here so for us to witness what we just saw and on top of that the manager basically just brushed it off as if it was nothing was very disrespectful…….i called customer service and now being told that we can’t even STAY/RENT a room. Do you do this to everyone who sees a roach and then bad communication? And this seems to not be the first time for Roaches

We tried to stay at this Best Western and when we arrived they had no power. I went in and spoke with someone who wrote my name down. They called the next day asking why we had not checked in. I explained to her that the gentleman there told us we would get refunded and could find a different hotel due to the inconvenience of the black out they were having. The charge is still on my account and when I called to speak to someone the man working was very rude, told me he had not been there for 5 days and couldn’t help. He then said he would transfer me to the manager but just hung up on. I now have to dispute to charge with my bank. Absolutely ridiculous.

I checked in at the evening the room was good and place is so nice and I would really like to mention the lady working at that time really who helped me alot was so kind and helpful she even picked my bag till my room. I don't remember her name but she talk to me so nicely that made me feel so special.... Definitely gonna recommend coming back.

Great service, rooms are clean. They have smoking rooms available, which is why I'll never stay anywhere else but there when I'm in the Alvin area. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Good breakfast, if you're awake before 9am, lol.

Thieves - shady company. When you total up the loss from their place adds up to nearly $1000 in less than a 30 day time frame.
ROACHES - FLYING ROACHES!! - Had two in my room and I am a very clean person.
The bathrooms are tiny and moldy.
Best Western Customer Care line holds them with ZERO accountability. They are not accredited with the BBB so they will not respond. At check in the worker tells you manager is a scam artist and cheap.
As I get older I listen to my mom more - I was going to stay here awhile back and she said absolutely not at this trash hotel. It doesn’t look that bad on the outside, even the inside they clean the rooms up well (shoutout to the cleaning ladies! They are awesome.). After the level of care I received business wise - I understand her judgement better now. This review would be more positive if I wasn’t ripped off and belittled.
As all the workers complain about being underpaid - I hope they move on to bigger and better things. Besides the newest lady who told the manager I was loco in their language because she was afraid of getting fired because she did not know to do her job right because she rather watch movies on her phone during her entire shift. So she made up lies about me to her manager and stole my ID.
Positive: A decent breakfast but you could save a lot more money and go to Walmart yourself because that is where it comes from. Only thing cooked is sausage, bacon, and eggs. With the loss I took from here I could have fed my family everyday for the year at Kelly’s with leftovers. Not worth it.
Do not stay here!

Love the pool very very very BEAUTIFUL!! ROOMS ARE OK NOT TGE BEST BUT LOVE THE GUY UP FRINT HES SO NICE AND GOES BEYOND TO MAKE U FEEL WELCOME!!

The manager working 7/8/24 Monday morning needs to be fired! Refused to give me my refund after the previous manager explained the process on how to get a refund! Plus the manager turned off their phone! Avoid this shady place at all cost! they will smile in your face but scam you in a sec!

Safety: Security is all over the hotel parking lot. It’s very lighted everywhere you happen to walk anywhere.
Walkability: You’re able to walk to a near by Walmart Also, Murphy gas station shopping center on the same side of the best western inn very convenient
