I know this place is “under renovation” but I’d make sure it’s done before you book a stay. My room was disgusting. And the homeless people allowed to stay in the empty rooms wasn’t appeasing to me.

This was the worst hotel I've ever been to the room had a not so pleasant clean smell to it when i walked in the tile was coming off the floor I then went to the bathroom & omg !! The bath tub had brown all the way around the bath tub ( I have the pictures to provide it) but what really did it was when I saw a huge look like a rust stain on the tub which look nasty & terrible when i went 2 change rooms they said they couldn't because they received new key cards & couldn't get them to work but would do so the next day well they then said they had no clean rooms available & would call me well if they called who ever is reading this they call u to !!! Also the staff on the 2nd day had a very nasty attitude when I complained & asked 2 be moved

This place has a terrible smell throughout the hallways. Our room had roaches. We killed a few within minutes of being there and saw more throughout our Stay. The hotel offered us bug spray as a remedy. I normally read reviews but I didn't before this one, there are plenty of reviews on this hotel talking about how dirty it is and the smells along with the roaches. They do nothing apparently to mitigate this. Shame on me for not reading the reviews. Hopefully you do not make the same mistake as me

Super nice room lay out. They have a free DVD library, and they also have a free appliance/board game library too. There was a little convenience store in the lobby which is nice, but it's not nice that they charge $2 for a generic brand water bottle. We are already y'all's customers, there is no reason to upcharge us that much for water.Unfortunately, they have roaches! Lots of German, infestation roaches. The duvet cover does not have a zipper or buttons on the bottom, so the duvet just slides right on out on to the floor while you are sleeping. My husband and I kept on waking up because our covers were all wrong. We will definitely never be back!

Rooms should definitely undergo a makeover!

The Room is set up like an apartment not a hotel, which I like. Everything is provided for you, silverware/dishes/paper towel/quality soap/Microwave, coffeemaker, everything. The two beds have good space, plenty for a family of 4. They have free laundry services and a weight room. The service is good but they need new hotel room key batteries, that's it. I would definitely stay here over somewhere else for the price.

Disgusting room! Roaches crawling in the bathroom and walls. Room was outdated and smelled like mildew. We always stay at IHG hotels but this was absolutely the worst one . Do not recommend!

The staff was nice and the location was great. But the rooms were terrible. A picture is worth a thousand words so here they are.

Booked a stay here 6 months out through my IHG rewards. The property owner and managers took it upon themselves to bill me my full stay amount 6 months ahead of time without my authorization and against the protocols set in the confirmation emails. I requested to cancel and was told I would not receive a refund by the front desk. I asked for the GM and was told I couldn’t speak to him and there was no timetable for him to get back to me as he was too busy and managed many properties at once. I have filed complaints with my card company, IHG, and am now leaving this review as the spineless GM has yet to reach out and the employees at the hotel are less then helpful. My fiancé works for IHG and we know the protocols and this is beyond any guidelines and highly illegal what they are doing. Do not stay here. They do not follow the guidelines, they bill you early without authorization or prior warning (6 months in my case) and then hide when you try and correct it. The reservation type I had was not a pay in full required and this was not mentioned at any point in the booking flow online. This apparently is property discretionary but should’ve been disclosed during booking and was not.Safety: Will scam you on your reservation. Buyer bewareNoteworthy details: Management and employees are less then helpful

Room was not good at all. The door to the room looked like someone tried to break in, there were roaches in the restroom, the tub was rusty and lots of mystery stains on the floor. Didn't make a fuss as it was for 2 nights and the last person that complained got the cops called on him for the same issues. Would not recommend this chain of hotels to anyone. Will definitely be asking for a refund, $200 for this was ridiculous.

This Hotel is disgusting. Very dirty carpets. The bed is hard. The hotel does not smell fresh. If I could’ve checked out I would’ve but my room was non-refundable. I feel very uncomfortable here. They have a roach infestation as well. I saw several on our stay here. Shake your stuff out suitcases, clothes etc.Rooms: The room is disgusting including the carpet and furniture. Worst IHG I’ve stayed at.

I arrived late on a Sunday night, after having worked 18 hrs and caught a flight from Philly to Houston. I get there the staff at the desk wasn’t very welcoming but it was late so I didn’t mind as much. So she checks my son and I in, and we go to our room on the third floor. Well I opened the door and was instantly mortified. It literally looked like I’d walked into a 60s movie. Everything was outdated. I couldn’t tell if the carpet was dirty or just old. The chairs had stains on them. The bedding didn’t look clean. The mirrors had rust and the bathroom tub was rusty. The room smelled of mold and mildew. I immediately went back to the front desk and asked for a room change. No way was I staying there in a mildew scented room. The receptionist did apologize and move us to a room on the first floor. No problem. We walked in, room looked renovated. It’s obvious they’re doing work on the building but I didn’t think anything of it until I attempted to bathe my child. There was no hot water. I was irritated but by this time, it was almost 1 am. I’m back at the front desk. I said there’s no hot water and she couldn’t say anything outside of “I don’t know why,”. So I bathed him in the bathroom sink as that did get warm at least. Early the next morning, I’m back at the front desk, I tell the lady about the hot water and she’s like “oh there’s a little trick you have to do!” I’m aggravated because I didn’t come to a hotel to have to do tricks to get hot water. She comes into the room and turns on the shower, bathroom sink and kitchenette sink faucets and said to let them run. After about 3-5 minutes water started to warm up. So I’m like am I going to have to do this every time I want to shower and she said no. So I hurried and bathed my son and I. By that evening, same issue. No hot water. I did the trick again….STILL NO HOT WATER! I’m mad at this point. So I go to the desk, this is evening time and the lady said that she wasn’t sure why and she’d let the GM know. This time, I asked is there another room I could go to or have. She gives me the key to a room on the 3rd floor. This room is gross looking to but all I want to do is shower. She said to leave the water running for at least 15 min and then see. Well after 30 min, the water never got hot. I was furious at this point. Again, in our room, we washed up in the sinks to at least have some hot water on our bodies. We end up going to bed. The next morning I demanded to speak to the GM. He wouldn’t be in until later around 9:30-10. It’s like 7 am at this point and I have to clock in to work. I dropped my son off and then headed back. I’m sitting in the room and I’m working, out the corner of my eyes, I see roaches scatter across the nightstand. This was my last straw. I packed all of our things and I told them to check me out and refund my money. They fought me back and forth because I’d booked through Priceline and stated they had a no refund policy. I didn’t care anything about that because me canceling because of a no show would be on me. But leaving due to uncomfortable situations, dirty, nasty, and no hot water and now bugs, yeah I had to go. And refund my money! Everyone kept saying the issues were due to the renovations. If these issues are occurring stop being so greedy and close until you’re done! To have people stay here is disgusting. I’m not from out there. To find a place to stay last minute spending MORE money because the hotel was unacceptable, is downright ridiculous. I have every intention on making complaints. The GM is very passive and I’m sorry but the excuse of “we’re renovating” simply doesn’t fly. Close up and stop being greedy. No one wants to sleep in mildew or mold. People want and need hot water. Like come on now. Just nasty. I’d never stay here again and please believe I’ll be writing to corporate as well. I have pictures too! I’m not satisfied. And it took me threatening to call corporate before my refund was processed. DO BETTER!!!Rooms: Old and gross. Mold, mildew and rust everywhere. Nothing looked clean.Noteworthy details: Don’t stay here. It’s

This place was terrible. A few places (apts and hotels alike) in Houston have an issue with mold/mildew smells in their buildings and/or rooms and I assume this is due to rain/flooding and this is one of them. The thermostat and air does not work and the front desk staff was rude. After rocking my car down streets and roads with potholes, I was met with contempt upon check-in. Will not stay here again.

This hotel was very disappointing. The location as great but the rooms are very outdated and ours had noticeable pet damage. The carpet stunk like urine & the hallways had their own weird odors. The bed was everything but comfortable. Do not

I visited while some renovation was going on, so bear that in mind. Overall the room was pretty nice. The trim over the microwave was missing, TV has a broken stand, couple of small holes in the wall, but overall pretty nice. Stayed here a week. The parking lot is pretty easy to get in and out of and seems to be of adequate size. Couple of outdoor cameras and security cameras inside. Minimal smell of weed (mostly outside and occasionally in the elevator). Overall I'd stay here again and wouldn't feel bad recommending it to others.
