As a Pearland REALTOR® and local expert, I love shouting out great customer service and the Dollar General on North Main (Hwy 35) did not disappoint! I was warmly greeted by two young men upon entering and despite it being close to closing time, I was warmly greeted. One of them kindly let me know they’d be closing soon and asked if I needed any assistance. At checkout, the other was patiently waiting and chatted with me about his academic aspirations when I mentioned shopping for my college student. Exceptional service, friendly, helpful, and professional. The store was neat and organized. I could actually walk safely through the aisles which at times at this location was challenging. I look forward to stopping back in soon!

Manager is not welcoming.Does not greet customers coming in store or speak to u when she checks you out.I will be spending my dollars at a different location. This is the store on 2020 main street in pearland, tx that has the rude manager

I've never given a review on any store Ever!This location deserves more than 5 stars!I've been to a lot of DG stores before. They have All been the same. Everything in disarrayUnorganized, Isles hard to shop do to boxes of merchandise that needs to be stocked. This location was fully staffed. Shelves fully stocked. Clean, well organized. No boxes on the floor at All!

I have been in cleaner and better kept dollar generals and hence the loss of one star. Otherwise, good place for a fast in and out.

Shopping in Houston, Texas... Since Dollar General is right next door to Big Lots, I took my niece and her roommate on a shopping excursion here. I warned them that not all items are a dollar... They had fun looking at health and beauty products, Sports fans gear (where's Rice University?), greeting cards, school supplies, etc. They enjoyed the shopping experience and look forward to returning! The cashier was a polite young man! Thank you for being efficient, friendly, and helpful!
