Wow. I walked in not one person said hi welcome in,they didn’t greet me at all. There was a employee up at the register on the phone or something. I said “Hello, hi welcome in” she didn’t even say anything back. Her name was Ms. Nicole. I was looking for Halloween gift bags. One of the employees I’m assuming Ms.D was having a loud phone call on speaker phone. She wasn’t being loud but the other person on the phone was being vulgar. So I dropped something to see if she would notice and get off the phone to help me. She came over and asked if I needed anything and picked up the pencil I dropped. It bothers me that I had to drop something to get her to come over and ask me if I needed help. But her attitude towards me was uncalled for. They acted like they didn’t want me to shop there so I left. These two lady’s need to work on their customer service skills asap. That was my experience as a customer at this location. It’s not always like that I do have to say. Maybe they were tired and didn’t want to be there that day. But I’mDisappointed in the customer service I received.

RUDE lazy no good clerks - I have my receipt and unopened package and they will not credit my card because the mgr wasn’t there - went to the other location and they verified the mgr WAS there and they were lazy not wanting to do their job -

I was just told that my service wasn't needed there anymore after only working a two weeks . After I had the conversation to Ms. D. About how I was using the employee bathroom an the lady Nicole tries to walk in on me , I told her to wait a minute an then I was also pushing the door while she was still trying to get in the bathroom. Mike woul come in a force me to clock out , cutting my hours. He also clocked me out at times not knowing it until I tried to sign back on to cash a customer out. After telling Ms. My concerns she texs me a says my service is no longer needed. Not a good place to work especially if a person is being harassed on the job.. i actually didnt my full pay when Mike clocked me out. Mike spends more time outside smoking those black an mild then doing his job, Ms. D or Nicole shouldn't be anyone's boss.

This store use to be a good store they usually have good clearances but since they don’t want to deal in marking the items down they get frustrated and mad becouse they don’t want to deal with it I wish they had negative stars it was a black lady that has bad customer service and won’t mark down the price’s definitely need new management

Very rude manager, Mike is what he said his name was. I waited at register for 10 minutes to see if they had something in stock. I could hear them laughing in the back room so I step in and asked if he could help. Lol, I got yelled at to get back behind the counter, my first reaction was to grab him by his face but I laughed and asked again for the merchandise. Without even thinking about it he said they don’t have it, with a horrible attitude. As I was leaving I decided to take one more look and found what I was looking for. Definitely my last time there. Learn how to talk to people Mike, not all of us are kids.

Store won't honor the digital coupons. When I questioned it I was put on speaker and spoke down like I was a 2 year old. I requested a refund and was told I would be getting back $62 after I had paid $67. Now tell me how stupid is that?????

Came into Dollar General because honestly, it’s my favorite place to buy candy. Got in, got what I needed and stood at the register for like 5 minutes. I turned around and asked the employee if there was someone that could help ring me up and that I’ve been standing here for a while. She responded, “you could have rang the bell …. I saw you standing there.” I said I didn’t know I was supposed to, there was no sign saying to ring a bell, can I get some help? She responded, “Nope and you can put it down and go get your stuff somewhere else.”.Seriously dollar general? This was the worst experience I have ever had in Dollar general and the worst part is, it’s the closest one to my house. Not happy at all….

The worker who rang us up was excellent on ensuring he checked my husband's ID. When I noticed I was overcharged on an item and returned right away, the lady called her manager and proclaimed the manager said she could not honor the price on the shelf even though the price was listed as cheaper, but rang up more. That is false advertising. The worker agreed it was not right but she did not want to get in trouble.So, I got my refund for that and another item and went to Wal-Mart just up the street where the item was a dollar less. I ended up purchasing more items at Wal-Mart for a better price with better service. To note, when I told my husband about it he said the price for the drink as stated on the shelf and lo and behold we were overcharged for that too! He had already started drinking it so I left that alone. I will not be supporting this store anymore.
