Walked in today and unfortunately the kid at the counter was being berated for doing his job. We came in with a toddler and just wanted to get some pokemon cards. Unfortunately it turned into a huge thing because Alex was doing his job. There was a man yelling at him and cussing at him because he wasn’t getting the amount he wanted for his phone. Kid explains to the man that he can get in trouble for giving him more money than the value of the phone. Man was yelling, cussing and arguing. The kid handled it well. I can honestly say I wouldn’t have had half the patience Alex did.

I wanted a Hello Kitty squishmallow for my daughter (surprise ? ?) and the one's close by me were out so I traveled to Pearland. I live by Hobby Airport. However, I did an online order. I called the store first to make sure it was there. After I made the online order, I called the store back to let them know I placed the order and the item I wanted. I arrived the next day for pickup and there was a person ahead making a purchase. It took about 10 minutes. The representative gave the customer great care and ensured she understand everything. As I waited my daughter looked around but didn't find anything. I was up next and I showed him my email confirmation then he handed my order over. That was like 5 seconds!! I checked the bag to make sure my order was correct and it was. The representative was friendly/professional, store was clean and tidy. The sale price for the squishmallow was $14.99. I am a pro-member because of my kids so I get a 5% discount plus every month I receive a $5.00 discount. That took $5.50 off and my item was a little over $10 ? I was surprised how big it was for that price and my daughter loves it since she's in her Hello Kitty phase❣️

Awful experience here.I placed an order online. After receiving an email that my order was ready for pickup, I went to the store.There was only one gentleman working at the store and he told me that he did not have a key to access the back room where the pick up orders were kept. He called his coworker who did have a key to see when he would return, and was told that he would be there any minute.... 20 minutes passed and there was no sign of another guy coming with a key. I asked the gentleman to call his coworker again and was told that if he said he was coming, then he was coming. After explaining that it had already been 20 mins vs the 5 I was originally told, he called again. This time the other coworker said he was "pulling into the parking lot." About 10 mins later he walked in and made all kinds of excuses about how he had to go pickup a deposit from another store and go to the bank because nobody from that store had a car to make their own deposit.It's ridiculous that there wouldn't be someone with a key working at all times if that's where they are going to keep pickup items. They had a complete disregard for my time.

I had questions about a particular item in the store. The responses I received from an employee, CHRIS when ask if there was any knowledge on this item was “nope, nope”. While trying to ask more questions his tone was very ill-mannered as if my questions were annoying him and he didn’t want to talk to me. I asked when another employee would be in and if they were to be able to help and he stated that nobody knows and he was the only one there ( I didn’t ask if anyone else was there. I asked if there were other employees that would have knowledge and what time they would be in); speaking on behalf of the entire GameStop location saying no one has knowledge on an item in the store is beyond me. A morning shift employee should be welcoming with no attitude. Customer service is a -10, at least from my experience with Chris. He needs to work on professionalism with ALL customers. I try not to make assumptions but previous to me he helped a father and son using great detail so I’m not sure why I was treated the way I was. Do better

Cris was absolutely amazing! I had 2 items I needed that were on clearance (BOGO) but at 2 separate locations. He manages both stores and actually offered to transfer 1 in the system to the other store as well as personally take it over there on his own time. He absolutely did not have to do this but he knew it was for my son and said the customer was his main priority. He also reassured me that he didn’t mind after I told his he didn’t have to go to such trouble. I was blown away by the level of customer service he and his team provided. Also, not once did they act burdened or put out by this and instead were smiling and understanding the whole time. My family and I will be renewing our membership and shopping solely at GameStop for our gaming needs going forward. Bye bye Amazon

Called about the spiderman ps5 there were 2 left for pre order, but when i got there he said it was only for digital, and everywhere I went said disk version. So slight reduction of stars for misinformation. If it turns out to be digital only i will apologize and adjust accordingly

Been here a few times and the staff is always friendly.
