I hate the new pumps so much Im never ever coming back?? that sucking/drinking/slurping sound is SO disturbing and it doesn’t stop!! I hated it so much I sat in my hot turned off car rather than listen to it for a second more, which caused me to get more gas than I meant to and spend way more than I meant to bc the prices here are also higher than my heb in pasadena.. but seriously the worst part is that terrible sound the pump makes and its VERY LOUD.

The new pumps are a disaster. They are insanely slow and the interface is terrible and confusing. The last sale stays on the screen, causing doubt about whether you are about to pay for the prior person's fuel.

Gas is good. Car wash is over priced for what is available in the area. A better discount with purchase of gas may make it worth the wait.

Gas pumps are annoying. Whatever you do, don’t push cancel on their annoying fuel additive questions, or it will cancel your entire transaction, but not before preauthorizing the standard $100 from your account. So your actual transaction after that, and the preauthorization charge will go through at the same time (which in itself should cancel out the preauth in my opinion). Store management needs retraining on what actually happens when they (HEB) preauthorizes someone’s account. The customer’s bank is not the one doing it. At least have the courtesy to give your customers factual information rather than false statements. And the manager also stated that they would not comply with my bank’s request for a simple letter if the charge goes through in error.
