First time going in to shop vs picking up an on line order. No Staff visible for assistance and, after 10 min simply gave up and left..

Salon employee didn't even know her own schedule for the day. Rushed me to pull up my appointment reminder. Fellow shopper hit my door with their door while I was waiting for my wife do get hair done..... All around bad experience from the employees all the way to the fellow shoppers. Just go anywhere else.

Don’t bother taking a pet session here. You can visibly tell they don’t want to do it. I parked at 6:58 & and was at the desk by 7:03 my session was at 7 and she told me I needed to reschedule. Mind you there’s only one studio booth from what I can see to take the actual pictures and people were currently taking pics when I arrived which means I would’ve been waiting anyway. The lady had no compassion or care, customer service was a 0/10 crazy that she said she was the manger. I hope she gets fired honestly. I chose not to reschedule because I wasn’t gonna waste my money on an establishment such as this one. Y’all should just take the pet option off y'all site. On top of that y'all need to clarify the policy on the site because I didn’t know pet session wasn’t the last session of the day until I called. Why offer something online when you know they should call to book anyway? Stupid. How you gonna have a 3rd party site and not give it all the details so that customers can know?? Do better or close it down and Judging by these reviews just fire everybody there’s others out of photographers in the world JCPenney doesn’t need any

I do not recommend I made an appointment a few weeks ago. I showed up early. The ladies seemed annoyed to be there they were ready to go home as it was one of the last appointments of the day. But I did get there early and they were able to leave early. My session was rushed I did not get the result I was hoping for. I was trying recreate a photo of when I was a baby with my baby. Even though I showed up early for my 6:30 appointment I wasn’t seen until closer to 7 I made no complaints. The photographer did not listen to what I wanted I showed her a picture of what I wanted. And she did not listen it was just very rushed.

Be aware: poor customer service and poor time management of scheduling. A week ago (11/17) when I booked my pet session for 1:30 pm the receptionist called me to reschedule it to another day to be the last visit of the day due to having pets. Fast forward to today 12/7 at 8 pm, we arrived and there were 3 families in front of us, the receptionist told us to walk around that they will call when it was our turn. Given that we had pets, we walked them outside and then we waited in our car. By 8:45 pm, we walked back since they close the store by 9 pm. No call and no offering to reschedule. The receptionist waited until 9:33 to tell us that they were not going to be able to take our photo session if it would be possible to come back another time. Of course we will not. I told the manager this and she just stood there and did absolutely nothing but opened up the door for us to leave. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. JCPenny could care less.

They DO NOT have curbside pick up and when they did it took an hour for them to bring it to you but it is still given as an option online. Some people have small children or other reasons they may need curbside and shouldn't be lead to believe they can use it just to have a printed sign on the parking spot that says unavailable once you get there.

While I understand the store may be having issues, it is completely unacceptable to leave customers outside with no notice (signs or memos detailing problems the store is experiencing) or instructions on alternative methods in which customers can retrieve their orders. I sat outside twice, both for 25+ minutes. Gas is expensive, and I had my dog with me, meaning that once I finally went inside the store to get my order myself, I had to leave my dog in the car with the AC running. When I got into the store the line for pickup orders was long with people complaining of the same problem I was having. I spent an hour trying to pick up a curbside order that should've only taken 10 minutes max. That is ridiculous. Inflation is crazy and gas prices are high. I already spent money in the store, I didn't realize I would have to be wasting so much extra money just trying to get the order. Thankfully I am able to retrieve my family's packages, but what if it was my 92 year old grandma who depends on curbside. On top of this the interim General Manager, Yesica Martinez, is unresponsive and doesn’t seem to care about anything going on in the store and the pickup/return register moves slower than snails. they should consider hiring my pet snails as they move quicker than the employees do. and can’t even do curbside because apparently they’re having technical difficulties so you’re forced to wait 40+ minutes in line
