DO NOT recommend and WILL NOT use again. They helped us move in 2018. First - their movers do not listen and follow instructions. Both examples below are for native English speakers, so there was no language barrier.
Example #1 of not listening. We had a treadmill that needed to be moved and the wiring harness was fished through the post of the treadmill. When I originally put the treadmill together, the instructions said DO NOT ever remove the wiring harness - move it as is. I had masking tape labeling it "DO NOT REMOVE." I also explained this to the mover face to face. I was then called to the garage with a question. When I returned 5 minutes later because I was wondering why they just had not carried the treadmill out of the room, he had removed the post of the treadmills, probably because it made his job easier to navigate the hallway and put it on the truck. It made my life absolute hell as I spent more than 8 hours re-fishing the wiring harness back through the post so that the treadmill could be operational. Most people would have given up and told Moore and Sons they owed them a $2000 treadmill.
Example #2 of not listening. I told them that the garage was not ready - it was not packed. I did not pay for Moore and Sons to pack. I did not pay for Moore and Sons to use their boxes. We had a lot of stuff and you could see it all over the guys faces that they got frustrated and just wanted to be done with this job. When I returned to the garage (see example above), the guys were packing up the garage. This led to stuff being in boxes that weren't labeled, which in turn led to garage boxes ending up in the house.
The second reason I will not use them is that they lost some of our stuff or stole it. I'm not sure which - it doesn't really matter. Regardless we lost both my Black & Decker jig saw and Black & Decker hedge trimmer. Ironically, they didn't lose/steal the Black & Decker hedge trimmer's charger. When I called the office to ask them to double check their storage (our stuff was stored for approximately 2-3 weeks), they said there was nothing in there. The move cost was almost $2000 and while the goods lost/stolen total is less than $200, there was no offer from Moore and Sons to make it right. There also was no apology - just "no we don't have it."

My boyfriend had them move his furniture last week into a storage until his apartment was ready the following week. Today we walked into the storage to start the process of moving boxes and saw that for some reason the movers decided to put weights on top of both of the bedroom nightstands, causing it to completely destroy the paint on the brand new nightstand. Well… when he called to file a claim, assuming the business was open since it says that they close at 6 on Saturdays online… the lady answered with the nastiest attitude i have EVER heard, she over exaggerated saying we called 15X, which we only called 3 times…. Said how apparently we were supposed to know they were closed and that she was on vacation lol….. how are we as customers supposed to know what is going on in your personal life when it says your open online… if you own a business, you do not handle issues in this disgusting of a manner. The attitude was horrible, and even though my boyfriend handled the whole entire phone call with so much respect, she was just nasty the whole time. Telling us that we can file a claim but they aren’t going to do anything about it. Do not use these movers, they do not value your furniture. The movers are rude, whoever answered the phone is HORRIBLE, and won’t do anything about your damaged furniture apparently lol..

Highly recommend this company!! They were on time, professional , courteous and efficient . 160 mile move and charge was less than their quote. They were also cheaper than other companies we talked to. Five stars+ for sure!!

I could not recommend this moving company. I had a couple of people in my neighborhood recommend them, I left a message that was unanswered and I also called and spoke to a woman who said she’d call me back with a quote and it’s been two weeks and I haven’t heard a word. I went elsewhere.
