Not speaking about the Pearland branch specifically. I would argue with anyone though. That Navy Federal is the worst bank in America. I have given them benefit of the doubt, additional account holders, & opportunity with MY money for almost 20 years at this point. They NEVER want to come to the table when it comes to me having a desire for their help though. To include extending equity I built back up in a secure loan. Their “security” procedures are honestly more hassle than they are worth. My wife decided to close out her secure loan with them. Paid the balance off in full, from a Navy Federal account. Yet somehow they couldn’t process the payment in an entire business day. Even though both the loan & payment were in possession of THEIR bank. We will definitely be closing ALL our accounts with Navy Federal. As well as recommending the same from all our friends. We will also make sure to spread the message of how poor an institution Navy Federal is. No need for any response from NF. Y’all closed this door permanently.

My husband went in to dispute a transaction, and the representative already had his account open before even verifying his identity. How was his identity confirmed without checking his Real ID? This clearly suggests that accounts are being accessed without proper authorization. To make matters worse, the very transactions he went in to dispute mysteriously disappeared from his transaction history the next day. On top of that, my own account—with missing funds—has been mysteriously closed without any notice or explanation. This is completely unacceptable and needs to be investigated and resolved immediately.

Great customer service. My daughter who's in college needed to withdraw some money from her account but didn't remember her PIN. The bank teller was helpful and kind with assisting her with her issue.

I’m a retired veteran. This is my first time visiting this location and I will never visit this location again. The teller Shelley has horrible customer service and she over talked me the entire time.

I was having the absolute worst day. Just cancelled chase bank account due to their ignorance and a 6 MONTH wait for my debit card. Somehow in that mess I misplaced my navy federal card. Miss Shelley was SO sweet, SO patient and kind. I have never had a bad moment with y’all. Miss Shelley not only double checked my account, but took care of the missing card AND ISSUED ME A CARD ON THE SPOT!!! Thank you for your EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

It would be so courteous and considerate of this institution to list when the ATM is undergoing maintenance or is closed so that patrons do not make a blank trip.

I have recently been going to this Navy federal location. Ms Kristina always greet with a warm welcome and smile. The branch manager Whitney Ferguson was so patience with me assisting me with a finance loan. Natalie was also very helpful! Thank you for everything.

This is the worst credit union and location that I have ever banked with. I went to apply for a personal loan and I was told by Caesar that I could not get a loan because of what I wanted it for. He wouldn’t even run my credit to see if I qualified for the loan. I have applied for a personal loan before and I’ve never been told what I could and couldn’t do with it. Even the manager Whitney wouldn’t come out a speak with me but told Caesar that I couldn’t get the loan without knowing any details or seeing if I qualified. I called the 800 number to file a complaint and the manager that I talked to was rude, nasty and unprofessional. I’ve been a customer at another bank for 30 years and I have never been treated so poorly as I was with this credit union. I will be closing my accounts with this credit union. This credit union deserves 0 stars.

I went to the Pearland location today and received help from Natalie who was a wealth of knowledge, well versed on the products that Navy Federal offers that will best suit their clients needs. It was definitely a pleasure speaking with Natalie today, and every time I go to that location I'll be sure to ask to for her by name.

Navy federal 800 # has great customer service Horrible online banking. App is always messing up. Mobile app has missing transactions and they tell you to use your statement. Well if I need evidence I made a payment 24hrs ago or even a week ago the statement may not even be ready.
The online banking on CPU same issue. Skips transactions you made. Make sure to keep good records of your spending and deposits. Don't depend on Mobile Banking or Online Banking to have your paper trail!

Subpar experience, which seems to be a common theme here. I went in 8/28/24 to meet with someone about initiating an auto loan. In order to do so, I had to start an account. Makes sense, no problem. However, for about 30-45 mins I was spoken to BY RICARDO in a sly, sarcastic, disrespectful way. I'm not sure if he was getting a kick out of talking to me this way, but it lasted nearly the entirety of the meeting AND he did so in front of my mother-- hopefully he doesn't "joke" with his mother or wife the same way. Nonetheless, it was a waste of time because I was denied on site although I have good credit (which I'm pretty sure is because I was not sure how to properly provide specific information, which I will say is not ENTIRELY his fault, but his consistent stating "what I will say..." didn't help me in making the correct decision. I would've preferred he just say he can't advise me and nothing further). Nonetheless, now I have an account here that I don't need, but I guess I can keep, and my mother and I know not to speak with him again if we ever revisit this location! So, I guess I can attribute the one star to us seeing a banker without an appointment an hour before close.

The absolute worst banking experience I have ever had. I will hurry up and find somewhere else to bank. Don't be fooled by the television commercials. They make it seem like regular banks are the bad guys but they use the exact tactics. Went to get a loan and they denied me, however got one from somewhere else deposited into my account and they wanted to hold it for ten days. The entire experience was a nightmare.

It seems absurd to take time writing a review for a bank, but this is seriously the most incompetent place. I went in to make a payment towards my auto loan. After waiting a ridiculous amount of time in line, the teller confirmed if I wanted the payment applied towards my auto loan; I repeated back to him auto loan. He hands me a receipt with a smile, and guess what? Its not applied to my auto loan. It's applied to my credit card. Imagine how much fun it was to sit on the line with customer service for hours in order to rectify this error to ultimately not get the result that I needed. Teenagers could run this bank better. If I could give zero stars I would .

1st time visiting this location and I was impressed! Very clean and updated bank…. The teller that serviced me was very polite and efficient.
