I take my small golden doodle for a baths and grooming, the technicians were very professional, welcoming, friendly and finished the job in a timely manner. The workers are always very attentive and courteous.

I was very unhappy with my pups appearance. His cut was awful, he had matted hair in his coat. He wasn't matted when I dropped him off. Very unhappy with the service. I will not take him back there for grooming. Worst $77 dollars I've ever spent!

Not even one star. They deserved. Bad poor job. One he was still wet. Two I ask for trim and bath only bath done. And still charge more than 100.00 and if I want hair is another 100. Wow

My first experience at this location seem to be such a great one until after I left. Came as a walk-in for a simple nail trim, checked with the lady if there was any availability, and she confirmed there was. Context: my lil pup is a rescue and still very anxious around strangers. Despite training, old age doesn’t help with her senses declining so she tends to guard me for comfort. Even as a toothless baby, I don’t like putting her or the groomers in a stressful state so I always offer to put on the leash and step out of sight as she behaved well not in my proximity. However the lady said she couldn’t let me do so and complete a 7 point body check before the service. I informed her that my dog will highly fail the body check with me standing here which she did. The lady said they couldn’t perform the trim today and to try another time when the dog is calmer or given CBD. I completely understood and said thank you for trying. Fast forward to a week later: we go to our usual location back at home (here for school) and are informed we got BANNED from any grooming services cause she showed signs of extreme aggression and biting. Overall, I am not upset by the reason of the probation as I take responsibility of my dog actions despite the circumstances and her anxiety but I did not appreciate the lying to “come back again and try again” and place a restriction without informing me. Protocol are protocols I understand, just don’t lie to me and waste both of our times. Happy ending: usual groomers got her in and clipped her nails just fine and changed the note to allowing one location to service her which Im pleased with.

I've been using this groomer for a while now and they have lost me as a customer for grooming basically the only thing I'm going to use them for now is cutting my dogs nails I was not able to drop my dogs off 30 minutes earlier than their minimum which was 10 minutes prior to the appointment so I was not able to drop them off and I end up being late to emergency service called that had to get to so I had to turn around drop my dogs back off at the house because of this.

The store is in a nice location around a lot Of things If you can find it, it takes you to another location from Yelp. Dealing with this store and vetco was pretty frustrating from a customer experience point of view. It's a small store for one. But once you start checkout things get really fun. Things not in the system,not lines, false advertisement with signs in the wrong places. Once you are done you go back thinking the ordeal is over but no, find out they double Charged you. Have to unstrap your dog with the bag, trot back to the store wait another 15 min to be helped to get the charge removed. Such a frustrating experience I won't be back l.

I’ve put off writing this review for two weeks, giving Petco time to respond with how they wanted to handle the situation but to no real avail other than covering the emergency vet costs, they have failed.
On June 4th my dog was brought in to be groomed which we have done countless times for the last year and a half. He love(d) going to the groomer and Kolby was always the stylist that cut his hair. Not this time. Unfortunately she was not available that day so a girl name Raquel was his stylist. My dog has always had a perfect grooming report card. Never hyper, nothing. I dropped him off at 10am and finally got a call around 4 pm but not from the groomer. It was from Hershel the General Manager as he claimed. There has been an emergency and they needed to transport Cash to the emergency vet. I was told it was for a “scratch like “ cut on his ear.
The reality was, the groomer was not paying attention and literally cut the end of my dogs ear off. It was hanging by a hair, literally. He had to stay the night in the emergency animal hospital and they stitched his ear back and then a couple of days later the end of it died and fell off.
At no point did anyone from Petco reach out to check on Cash after the initial visit to the EAH.
I did contact the store and left multiple messages for the GM to return my call but that was unsuccessful until I sent him a text message to his personal cell phone which he had called me from while he was dropping Cash off at the EAH.
Yesterday I was called by Hershel again and told me I was no longer welcome in the Pearland Parkway store that my dog was to never be brought back in there either, that I was badgering his employees by asking for recommendations to another groomer since I had already been told cash couldn’t come back to finish getting his hair cut that they had already started and I wasn’t planning on taking him back there anyway.
I have reached out to corporate but have yet to hear from there either.

They take care of our Vinny and we appreciate it
