Great banking experience today, Ruby is very knowledgeable about the bank account type/service I needed and was pleasant to work with even when it involved a ton of paperwork. I appreciate experienced and dedicated professionals and you can tell the difference in the quality of service from other banks with high employee turnover.

I have used this branch for 3 years and I do not see an issue.Not even sure why 1 star rating should present if you are an honest customer that does no fraud.

Today around 2:00pm, I arrived at Prosperity Bank in Pearland located at 11451 Broadway St, Pearland Tx 77584 to cash a personal check at the drive through window. As always I politely signed the check and submitted my drivers license to the teller. Moments later, the teller walked back to the window and surprisingly ask me to write my social security number on the back of the check which I thought was extremely odd and unwarranted. I politely complied and another 5 min later she returned back to the window informing me she could not locate my name and account number. At this point, I became alarmed and concerned about the mode of operation requesting additional personal information from me. I then stated I have never been asked to provide such additional private information especially given i have submitted my drivers license. Furthermore, I shared I didn't feel comfortable with you (the teller) asking me to capture my SSN and writing it down on the back of the check. At this moment after being a member of properity bank for nearly 3 years now, I am strongly considering moving my money from this bank. It is unacceptable for anyone at prosperity bank to mistreat clients so poorly by being so rude and disrespectful to customers. The teller was communicating to me as though I was a random non member of this bank. This was one of the most horrible experiences I had to go through and no one should ever be treated in this manner. I am strongly considering removing my money from this bank!!

The staff gets 5 stars. Those who run the bank , I.e. hired and continue to employ those responsible for internet banking get minus 5 stars (black holes, I guess). Unbelievably horrible. A monumental disrespect for their customers and their customers' time. And when I call, usually, the person who Tries to help is very kind, but has the attitude that the problem is on my end. I have three accounts At another bank, and in almost 3 years have never had to Call For help. I've been a customer for about 13 years. But I'm going to have to move on. It's just not worth the frustration and anger. They do have nice people m, and that is the only reason I have stayed this long.

This bank is HORRIBLE!!!! The closed my account because I have money coming in and withdraw the same day!!! The risk manager and president of this branch said since it's so much FRAUD in the world today (((NOT FRAUD ON MY ACCOUNT))) they didn't feel comfortable with my account being open!!!! So a black woman that receives money and withdraws on the same day they feel threatened!!! I plan to take this to the highest level that I can to humiliate and make sure no one bank here. It's too many bank institutions to deal with DISCRIMINATION!!!!
