The store is spotless and brimming with a diverse selection of items just waiting to be discovered. Whether you're on the hunt for everyday essentials or unique finds, there's something for everyone!

I understand theft happens but their self-checkout policy undermines the utility of self checkout. Whether you have a security tagged item or not you must have your receipt checked and your items bagged. Checking out slows to a crawl during busy stretches.
Ross has a lot of endearing qualities so I will keep shopping there, but this rubbed me the wrong way.

I visited there like I do everyday and went looking for the Hello Kitty Easter blanket. They were put out at every Ross store that day. So I decided to come back later, still nothing UNTIL I peaked in the stock room and to my surprise there it was. So I asked a worker and he said sure let me process it and I will give it to you. Then this JULIA women tells him “Hey, what are you doing with those blankets? They’re on hold for a customer.” So I confronted her and told her that I wanted to purchase it, she refused to give it to me and said that it was on hold for a customer inside the store. Now we all know that is a lie because according to their corporate policies, they are not allowed to hold any items outside of clothing in the fitting rooms. Because of the high demand of hello Kitty item, many corporate stores do not allow holds for neither customers or employees. She was very ugly with the way she was talking to me In front of my daughter. I asked for corporate number and she refused to give it to me and told me to go to customer service. I then spoke with Adriana, the assistant store manager Who fed me even more lies. Stating that the customer left, and she’s coming back to purchase the item. Now, please tell me exactly where do they do that at? I’m a paying Customer in store right now willing to purchase this item and you are refusing to allow me to do so because it’s on hold for someone who already left the building. The truth is, Julia was holding that blanket for herself. I placed a complaint with corporate and will be in touch with the district manager. I have many videos and proof that this has been an ongoing thing with their employees taking the hello Kitty blankets. I have witnessed a young girl at opening run to the floor, grab a hello Kitty blanket and take it straight to the back. This is unprofessional and it needs to stop. This is the kind of stuff we have to deal with when people have very little power in their life and get big headed…

They do not let you take the cart out of the store....which i did not know prior to buying a cart full of kitchen stuff. I am pregnant and had to drive my car to the front and park on the curb so I can take 5 or 6 trips in and out to empty my cart. They tell you to park at the front despite the curb clearly being labeled no parking. This place even has a security guard....it's a Ross lol. It is very over the top. They just need metal detectors and pat downs and they'll be golden.
I have no plans to shop there again. If you do....only buy enough you can carry unless you want to get a workout.

This incident occurred at this Ross Store in 10426 Broadway St. Pearland, Tx.77584 on Thursday, October 31st 2024 around 8:00 p.m.. This is what I experienced while trying to shop at this particular Ross Store location. I was actually being Racially profiled and Discriminated against by this Ross Store Loss Prevention Team member. This employee a tall young Hispanic man by the name of Bryon or Brian. He was very rude and disrespectful towards me.
Normally, I never shop at this particular Ross Stores location. However, as I entered the store, I was greeted by this Loss Prevention Team member employee. Well, later while I was near the front of the store shopping for Lotions about 10 to 15 minutes later this same Loss Prevention Team member employee Bryon or Brian. He later walked towards me and approached me and asked me out aloud what are you doing??? And he the Loss Prevention Team member employee proceeded to let me know that they have been watching me the whole time that I entered the store. Because, I placed some used small paper tissue that I had in my hands upon entering the Store on the side of the counter without placing it in the trash.
So, at this point I asked him the Loss Prevention Team employee are you trying to say that I’m stealing and did you see me steal something??? And at this point he could not say anything but looking stupid and silly at me, and kept walking and talking saying to me that we been watching you. Then he said he has a Criminal Justice degree. I’m like really and what does that have anything to do with your behavior and trying to harass me.
Then, later, I spoke to the Ross Store Manager on duty and I explained to him what happened and that I will be filing a complaint with their Corporate office.
I was really shocked and surprised of this employees behavior. Unfortunately, this young man this Loss Prevention Team member targeted me the wrong Black African American woman that he thought he could get away with Racially profiling and Discriminating against me. And believe me, I have enough factual evidence to prove to Ross Stores CEO to what actually happened to me!!!
And going forward, I blame Ross Stores Corporation for not better training their inexperienced employees who are targeting Black African American Consumers with Racist Discrimination practices and trying to violate our Civil Rights. And, most importantly, it’s very degrading and uncomfortable, while trying to leisurely shop, as a Black African American Consumer and not knowing that you are publicly being Racially Profiled, Discriminated against and then be harassed.🧐

Rudy, the assistant manager acted ignorant and uncaring today. This guy refused me a refund after saying he would match the price of the same product on his shelf. I called him out for lying at the register and he was embarrassed. Rudy is untrustworthy, and shouldn't be employed in the public sector. A report was made with local PD. This behavior is also documented on several platforms. Pending resolution(s).

Disappointed is an understatement. Ross in general is know to be a bit unorganized, lines can tend to be long, and many things maybe out of place. But the recent visit I made to this location was all of those things and more. This visit took place on Sunday Aug 4th with in the 9 o’clock hour. I mentioned the time because it’s obviously this was something that was done from the business day before OR started the morning of and not completed prior to opening. While in the short during this visit I didn’t see a store associate sweeping or in the process of resolving this issue. Either way is nasty and unprofessional.
Having to maneuver a cart and walk around this throughout the store is not a pleasant shopping experience.

I’ve never encountered any issues until yesterday. Both the cashiers with red braids were so rude . One just seemed she hated working there . No
customer service at all . And the old lady that’s incharge of the fitting room is worst .

We’ve gone to this location a couple of times and go to multiple locations in the area. I have never witnessed such terrible, belittling and absolutely rude customer service. I understand there are “corporate policies” as one of the managers stated, but there is ABSOLUTELY no reason “supervisor” KENZI should be SHOUTING at people in front of their faces to take off the hangers off of the clothing before coming to the register. Mind you more than half of the customers were Spanish speakers. This “supervisor” then proceeds to yell across to the other associates “you have to yell at THEM” or else they won’t listen,” and continued to snicker and repeat it again while the other associates laughed. Maybe if your supervisor KENZI is treating people like this, she’s probably in the wrong line of work. I hope this issue gets resolved and people at your store treat customers like actually human beings instead of making them feel like they’re walking through TSA, and if you did want us to follow “corporate policies”, y’all would have the racks cleared for customers to follow those said policies and take the hangers off of the clothing. I have worked in customer service and management for close to 14 years and I was in complete shock at how this supervisor was treating customers at this store. Absolutely infuriating.
