Made a whole fool of me, lied and said my brother's transmission was an issue, we told him we'll have to save the money to take care of it and to give us the car back. HE ALREADY TOOK THE CAR APART WHEN IT WAS IN FOR ONLY 1 DAY FOR A CHECK UP!!! WE NEVER AGREED TO THAT! He took out the entire transmission and said it was 3000 to put back. We had no choice but to get a loan. DO NOT GO HERE!! ITS A SCAM SHOP. They will make up problems that don't exist just to charge you. The transmission was never an issue, all we needed was an oil change and he broke the dipstick!!!

I highly recommend Snider Transmission! Tommy was amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable and very efficient. Having to get transmission work done is stressful. He fixed my Suburban and it’s like brand new. They handled the warranty company for us, and I was pleasantly surprised at how fast the work was done. We will definitely be back in the future if we need any services they offer.

After two weeks of my truck being “worked on” and listening to excuse after excuse, I gave up and went to pick it up. Figured I would find someone else.It wasn’t even there. I found my truck a mile away at another shop called “Lee’s 4X4”Snider wasn’t even working on my vehicle.They gave all kinds of excuses why it wasn’t fixed, but they really had no idea.Never again.Wiring harness was for rear differential was left off and now the rear end won’t lock.Here are the photos of my truck at a completely different shop and Lee, the owner of the shop at3837 Halik St, Pearland, TX 77581

You will never have a better time getting the worst service. Took my car in for a 4 day job which turned out to last 13 and was charged way too much for the quality of the work received. Would never recommend this place to anyone unless you want a nice conversation and a bad time. Was told in several occasions that my car would be done even once making a dead trip with no way home but to walk. 1/5 edit:also messed up the wiring for tire pressure great job guys

The poor rating applies to their rebuilding of my F350 diesel 4R100 transmission. This review does not apply to their gasoline engine rebuilds of which I have no experience. The rebuild only lasted 30k miles. Luckily when the input shaft stripped out I was close to my shop. I had the transmission rebuilt this time by Moore Transmission in Alvin. What Snyder did when they rebuilt my transmission a couple years ago was put gasoline engine type parts in the transmission rather than diesel engine type parts back in the transmission which caused it to fail catastrophically when it went out. I don't know if Snyder uses lower spec parts because they know that they will at least last the 12k warranty or if they just don't know what they are doing. I dropped the truck off at the Pearland location which pulled the transmission and sent it to another Snyder shop to rebuild it. It may just be since the rebuilder didn't see the F350, mine which weighs over 11k lbs all the time with a service body on it, he didn't realize the need to use heavier spec parts. As you can see from the attached photos of the parts removed especially the planetary gear which only has 3 planet gears rather than the 4 needed for the extra torque the diesel produces this rebuild was doomed to fail from the time it was rebuilt by Snyder.

I like this place, but it seems like there’s always an excuse as to why a certain someone can’t do a certain service because he’s got a medical condition. I ended up going to a competitor that could do the job in one day, was cheaper and they had this framed quote hanging on their wall:“Rule#1: If you don’t take care of your customers...someone else will!”Kind of ironic, don’t you think?

I thought I had a transmission leak, went to snider to get a free diagnostic, turns out it was an engine oil leak instead that a previous mechanic failed to fix.Tommy was great to work with, he was very honest with me and answered all my questions promptly. He was always available through text or phone and i was not charged a penny.Would definitely recommend!
