I am writing to formally express my frustration and disappointment with the services I received at your Pearland, TX location, and to request immediate corporate attention and resolution.
I recently paid $315.00 for a sew-in service. Within just one week, the style began to fail. I contacted the stylist directly and sent her photos showing the issue. I then returned to the salon within two weeks, expecting a solution — but nothing satisfactory was provided.
This isn’t the first issue I’ve had at this location. Prior to the sew-in, I paid $150.00 for a keratin treatment that did not hold as promised. Additionally, I spent $650.00 on bundles to support the sew-in, only to have my tracks sliding out shortly after the service.
When I returned to raise my concerns, the only solution offered was to have the stylist “fix it.” After the time, energy, and money I’ve already invested, I do not feel comfortable sitting in the salon again for hours — especially when the quality has not met professional expectations.
In total, I’ve spent over $1,100 and have received services and products that did not last or live up to the standards expected from Ulta Beauty salons.
I am respectfully requesting:
A full refund for the failed services. I only asked for my sewin.
📌Johnathan, do not call my phone unless you're ready to address the poor quality of the sew-in and show me the work that was supposedly done. Telling me there's no refund for this terrible service is unacceptable. I’m not sitting in your salon for another 4 hours when I already scheduled the last appointment for 5. Your customer service is severely lacking, and I will escalate this if it's not resolved appropriately.

While up getting ready for my day, I am using some of my newer make up products which made me think about how wonderful an experience I had when shopping. Very pleasant experience when passing by. Chelsie assisted me and was so knowledgeable and made the process of finding just what I needed seamless. My newer favorite lip plumping gloss is the MAC Plumping Stick in my favorite color green. Hydrating and really does give a bit of a pouty plump to the lips which I love. I was able to shop around and be shown various products and ultimately create a nice combo of an everyday MAC look and wear that with the switch of a lip could go well for cocktail hour. Thanks Chelsie for making what can be overwhelming simply fun, light and glamorous! I get so many complements on my everyday look! I’ll be back to shop soon

I was greeted by Chelsie! She had great customer service, helped me find a match to my skintone and also recommended some tips on how to apply the makeup I'd purchased since makeup is not in my wheelhouse! She helped me out and I appreciate her patience! I'll definitely be back.

Ulta is semi-organized chaos. Unless you can grab a staff member immediately at the door, you have to go on a scavenger hunt to find the brand you're looking for. I'm giving a 4 star just because the cashier was very friendly and personable. The store itself, a 3. I found a worker eventually and asked for what I was looking for. She took me to it and then left. There needs to be more raised our clead signage for what is where.

Had best experience with MAC Specialty Artist Chelsie! I originally went in looking for make up and she did really good color matching me for foundation. She did a soft glam trial look and I later went back and got my make up done for engagement pictures. She did an excellent job! It lasted all day, no creases, no retouches.

the workers here are SO rude. a while ago i came in asking where the sol de janerio was at the girls told me where it was and then i heard them laugh to each other and say “it’s literally right in the front”. i’m glad i moved from this area :/

Went in for salon service. My first professional haircut in 20 years. My beautician was extremely nice, professional and took very good care of me. Gave product recommendations but did not try to sell me anything. I will definitely go again.

Gerri is amazing—ask for her, especially if you have mature skin! She helped me find everything I needed to look great, whether it’s for Zoom meetings at work or a night out. I’m so happy with my purchase. Everything looks incredible on my skin!

I went in to get my hair colored and I can say I am so pleased with my service 10/10 recommend Karina R she does such an amazing job and shows so much patience to understand what the customer wants and needs. She helped me so much with my daughter I had and honestly I would never want another stylist she did the most amazing job better than what I could have wished for!! 100% recommend KARINA. R

I’ve shopped at this location for 8 years, as long as I’ve lived here. The service has always been friendly and kind. This review is for the resident esthetician, Leila Garrett (it’s overdue:) Leila is the best of the best at her craft. She is beyond her craft. She is a wealth of resources and knowledge about skin and beauty and so much more. I’m so thankful for her work and appreciate her consistency and TLC. Thank you, Leila.

Had the pleasure and great experience while in the Ulta Pearland Silverlake location. While I was very much undecided on many things. MAC specialty artist Chelsie was an excellent and amazing help. She was very knowledgeable, patient and most of all very kind. If you’re ever in the area and in Ulta I recommend you check in with her. Great customer service, and she made the entire experience a delight. 10/10 strongly recommend.
