“Well to start off it was more organized and well stocked with many options to pick from I'd also like to point out that this 5 below was way better compared to most locations in many other ways.”

“The best place to buy inexpensive Christmas decorations. Great selection & great prices. At Home charge triple for the same ornaments & Christmas decor. I come here every Christmas for the decorations. They have different type of everything.”

“Love this store and its great location! Ms. Holly and her team always provide excellent customer service. They work hard to keep the store organized and welcoming, and you can really tell they care about their customers and the overall experience. Definitely one of my favorite places to shop with my daughter”
8232 Kirby Dr, Houston TX 77054
“They were rearranging the store so it was a bit cluttered. They have a wide variety of things from beauty products to toys and even a small clothing section. Good for last minutes items. They have squishys which is the big thing for kids right now. Now be award they do have a sign that say 3 squishys per customer but when you get to the counter they try to saynits 3 per family. I had 4 kids and they were trying to say that even though each of the kids with me had their own money completing their own purchases the cashier tried to say as a family we could only get 3. She let them purchase their squishys eventually.”

“I mean, people who have no choice to shop there, shop there. That is the only reason I am shopping there. The workers are all cordial, and everyone is professional, it's just that the pricing structure of the store seemed to be oppressive, that could just be the effect of our current regime. Who knows. At least it's not Dollar General.”
Dollar General opened its 20,000th U.S. store on February 24th in Alice, Texas. It’s a major milestone for the discount chain that started as one small general store back in 1955. Starting with a ribbon cutting ceremony, the grand opening celebration began at 9am. First customers received some freebies - tote bags filled with free product samples and snacks from DG's Clover Valley brand.
