A LOT of y'all's reviews are from people who do not understand Aldi, period, so let me educate you:
- You do not PAY 25 cents for a cart lol. They offset their costs by INCENTIVIZING you to return your cart and get the quarter BACK. To get it back, you push the chain into the slot, and your quarter pops back out.
- They only have up to 6 employees working at a time, and all self check outs are credit card only.They pay these employees up to 25/hr, which is amazing.
- They do not have a customer service desk, again, because they are trying to pass along cheaper prices.
- They HAVE to keep moving while helping you, bc there is a small space in which to move, and there are so few stockers.
- They NEVER bag your groceries. This is a known POLICY of theirs. That is why there is an entire shelf where you bag your own, with either bags you bring or buy, or free leftover boxes from the shelves.
- Do not take the extra carts from beside the cashiers; they use the extra carts to load you up more quickly.
- To the person complaining that they move too quickly? Geez what a 1st world problem lol..I have NEVER had them ring me up incorrectly, and I LOVE how quickly I can get in and out of the store!

I am a frequent weekly shopper and as late the shopping experience has been limited and not smooth due to electric pallets, carts, and cages in the way. SEVERAL of them throughout the store to where one shopper can only shop in the area because two buggies can fit in the aisles at one time. What is going on?? Also there are NO employees working in the area to move them or find better areas to place them when they leave the floor. I included a few pics but today I’ve counted 6 aisle blocks.
The store has already increased their foot traffic but now the shopping experience just isn’t smooth at all anymore.

Love Aldis just spent 135$ that would have cost me 200$ anywhere else.

Follow up: Went in today and picked up a few items and was amazed that the store is well kept up and not 100% crowded. Great concept for a new shopping store from out of state provider. Clean store overall and prices were comparably better than others, still.

I was shopping at Aldi on July 1 and learned that Aldi is purchasing from farms that allow one of the cruelest factory farming practices: the use of gestation cages to house pregnant mother pigs. Gestation cages are already banned or restricted in 11 US states and Aldi itself has eliminated this practice in Germany where they are headquartered. This is cruel, immoral and intolerable. I will not be shopping at Aldi until they do the right thing.

This was my first time ever coming to Aldi’s and omg! I enjoyed my first experience thanks to Tik-Tok of course, I bought the normal amount of groceries just as I would buy at H-E-B for just a better price!

I love Aldi. It’s always clean and has what I need. I never get stressed going to Aldi unlike bigger grocery stores. The prices are stupid good, you just can’t beat them.

Great prices but be careful on checkout, they have a habit charging regular prices for some sale items. B prepared to watch the register display, they have the quickest cashiers I have ever seen.
