The 2 ladies there were so professional, I came in for my first time and they were patient, and helped me the whole way, and then I came back and they were quick to come to my aid when I needed help, the best storage workers in the business.??

Destiny is AMAZING. Destiny listened to a statement I made about Life Storage. She could have easily ignored my feelings instead she went above and beyond to help me as a customer. Service like this keeps customer coming back and/or staying with a business. Thank you Destiny, I appreciate you!!

I created a reservation online and it helped speed the process. Kimberly at life storage was super nice and helpful! It’s hard to find good customer service now a days and I couldn’t be happier with the way she treats her customers.

Be 100% aware of your needs before signing this contract. You are very easily able to book and sign for storage unit and are told that if it does not work for you then you can make a change the day you move in. But of course it was not that easy for that to happen I would find out later.I booked a 10x10 climate controlled unit for a total of $91 a month for my mom. The day she moved in she decided that the 2nd floor access was going to be hard for her and her friend to move all the furniture into so she went to ask for a change. They got her into a drive up access w out climate control 10x10 which are usually and commonly cheaper. She did not know the difference since I had been doing the process. I found out later the new unit is a total of $131 a month.I went to question the change and was told that the "demand" of the unit caused the change in cost. In front of the worker I went online and found another 10x10 drive up unit with no climate control for $72. They said I could book it and move units if I wanted instead of just providing a price adjustment to even my original booked price. I understand and was explained they are month to month contracts, so why could this not be the price not be lowered for next month. This all to me is ridiculous. The worker told me that this one is the last in this size, so wouldn't the "demand" make it more expensive. She ran out of things to say and I am very aware it is not her fault. She was very nice. She even was confused herself. She even went to speak to her manager that chose to give her such a bogus reason about the price change. He cowered in his office like most terrible leaders do and left her for the wolves and to deal with my concern.I've used life storage before and was so happy w then, which is why I came back. It's clear that I will no longer. My mother is even contemplating selling her things instead of storing them anymore. Real people rent these units whether its all done online or not. We will absolutely be looking to vacate the property as fast as possible. Thanks for nothing life storage.

I had the best experience today. I called in for questions about my unit and lost the call. Aurora with Life Storage actually took the time to call me back. She answered all my questions, and even made recommendations that saved me some future headaches on my storage move. Thanks a lot Aurora, you made my day.

I have had a great experience with this location. Drew was very helpful and answered all of my questions and helped me get settled into my new space. Angela has always been courteous and returns my phone calls and has helped in anyway that she could. I love this location and most importantly, they keep everything clean and I didn't notice any problems.

We’ve had a unit here since they opened with no issues, it was affordable & customer service was great. However we’ve had nothing but problems now that it’s Extra Space, they’ve jacked up our unit price, customer service has been Terrible, & their websites trash. We still can’t pay online since our account info didn’t transfer when they took over.

I've been renting a unit here for 3 solid years. Saturday night, I went to pick up something from my unit and found that my pass code had been deactivated. When I tried to sign into my online account, it was also deactivated.I called first thing Monday and was told that the unit in question was vacant, that they had found it empty and without a lock, so they simply closed the account without contacting the renter (me), because people "move out without notifying us all the time." (And what? Hope autopay stops charging them eventually? Let their rent go to collections? Seems unlikely.)There are items in that unit that are completely irreplaceable (such as the antique guitar my partner's grandfather built by hand and left to him when he passed away), so you can imagine the amount of devastation I was feeling throughout all this. The employee I was speaking with said he would make some calls to see if he could find out anything else and call me back. Waiting for that return call was maybe the most stressful hour of my life. The good news: my things were found to still be there. After much back and forth it was figured out that an entirely different customer had moved out of an entirely different unit, and an employee incorrectly closed my account and marked my unit vacant instead of theirs. (That person is assumably still being charged, I guess. Hope they notice sooner rather than later.)They then rented out the unit to someone else, who arrived at their move-in date to find the unit full of my things. (They apparently do not inspect units between renters, which is somewhat concerning.)It was just assumed that the items belonged to a new renter who had moved into the wrong unit, and it didn't occur to anyone that maybe the items belonged to, I don't know, the person who had been renting the unit for the past three years, never missed a payment, and never gave any notice of moving out?? So nobody contacted me. It was sheer dumb luck that I caught this in a timely manner.Anyway, since my account was terminated, I had to open up a whole new account at a higher monthly rate. The process took hours. I had to miss a day of work to deal with it. But they waived the move-in fee. WooI have always used autopay and rarely visit so if my partner hadn't happened to need something from our unit this particular weekend it might have taken months to realize my account had been deactivated. We are extremely fortunate that we caught this before our items were disposed of. (I was told they would have waited six months, since it was assumed the items belonged to a paying customer who was just in the wrong space - though if that had been the case, a customer who rarely visits and uses autopay such as myself could easily be charged in perpetuity after having their items removed.)The employees who worked with me today did try very hard to do everything in their power to make it right (which was why it took hours), but it was apparent that the people they report to were uninterested in that kind of customer service, and blocked all of their efforts to restore my previous rate, waive the charge for August, or anything else to compensate me for my time, missed work, extra expense, and ungodly amount of stress. So while I do appreciate the effort those individuals put in on my behalf, I'm fairly disgusted with the company as a whole and I plan to find other accommodations for my possessions as soon as possible. If you do choose to rent with Life Storage (which I obviously do not recommend), make sure you're checking in on your unit as often as possible. Also, one last, smaller gripe: They don't list the actual phone number to that location on their Google listing. They make you go through an automated phone tree and talk to a general customer service representative to even be able to contact the facility directly, so that just sucks in general.

We had our furniture there for 6 months and we lost 2 rugs. One of them had a dead rat inside and the other rat pee. Life Storage told us to reach out to their insurance, however they informed us that they could not compesate us for the rugs we lost. Do not recommend this place due to the lack of resolution and care to our problem.
