Such a wonderful group of gifted dance teachers. My daughter started ballet class at 3 and just finished her second season. She has progressed so much and loves her classmates and her teacher, Mrs. Micah. Micah is a gentle leader but commands attention. Her approach in coaching allows for playfulness and expressiveness, all while teaching core values, what it means to be a good classmate, how to encourage each other, and when to focus. There is truly a great amount of talent on staff. The advanced girls are amazing, too. Some very dedicated instructors and dancers.

My daughter began dance at Lonestar at barely 3 years old; over just 9 months she's developed so many skills and gained confidence in what her body can do. Starting off, she could barely jump over the pom-pom with both feet, and now she leaps with grace. Dance has truly been incredible for her gross motor development. The instructors at Lonestar are amazing - both Destinee and Micah are so good at making even shy dancers feel included and comfortable in class. Classes are a great blend of letting kids have fun (sleeping bunnies has been such a hit) while also teaching them real dance technique. I also really appreciate how inclusive they are; there was a little boy in my daughter's first class which I absolutely loved to see. As a parent of a little one, I can't say enough great things about Lonestar.

I have been taking my kids to Lonestar since 2019, and all three of my kids have taken classes there. The studio is well organized, and they maintain a culture of supportiveness, encouragement, inclusion and kindness, which is so important for youngsters when learning how to do anything but especially any performance art. Many of the teachers are former or current students, and several are current or former members of the UT Pom squad. We love this place!

We absolutely love Lonestar. My daughter has been here for 5 years. She is currently on the competition team and absolutely loves dancing here. She has learned more than just dance. She has learned to be responsible, how to work as a team, and how to be a leader.

We absolutely love Lonestar Dance Center!! My dancer has been dancing at this studio since just before she turned 3! She is 11 now and spends most nights learning from some of the best teachers! Mrs. Micah promotes a positive environment while holding dancers to expectations of core values. Thanks, Lonestar for developing essential dance skills and helping my daughter grow in confidence!

I'm going to give you a honest review unlike the ones on that have been giving on Google. Let's be real here all business are not perfect so whenever you see all perfect reviews it's because the establishment ate deleting the honest reviews and the other reviews have been ask to be written in a positive none honest light. All I have to say is that the teachers are very good but if none of your teachers have children of their own they truly will not understand how to work with all children no matter how long they have worked with children. Until you have raised children or had your own you have no business teaching them nothing. That was my first mistake enrolling my children into a dance school where none if the teachers have children of their own.(HonestReview)1st of all Lone Star is in one of the fastest growing cities in Texas called Pflugerville. People all over this world are moving to Pflugerville every hour so you are going to deal with all types of children with different disabilities, cultures, backgrounds and behaviors there for you should know how to work with all types of children which this dance school does not know how. 2nd of all their methods of payment is horrible they have a 3rd party involved that you will not find out about until you file a police report about your funds being stolen. Do Not! I Repeat! DO NOT PUT SAVE YOUR CARD IN FILE THEY EILL SUCKBYOU DRY AND SAY THATS HOW THEIR SYSTEM IS SET UP *pay cash only*!!! 3rd Lone Star Dance Center advertise that they have a summer camps okay please please tell me what summer camp just stays at a dance studio and never goes anywhere the entire summer. All summer camps take their children on a fun outdoor outings, swimming, pool parks, museums, skating etc...minimum of twice a week. This studio takes the children nowhere! Just around the parking in the back of the building to jump in a bouncing house that you get for your house. If you are lucky you may get to walk to Starbucks. 4th the studio is small for the number of students, they are very short staff that's why they barley answer phones, never respond to text or calls but they will definitely respond to emails regarding money otherwise they have the poorest line of communication. For the amount of students Lone Star dance center should have a larger window for business hours. It's very crowded, the bathrooms are disgusting, pre teen&teenagers talking about sex, sexual positions, oral sex,all the time while awaiting for you toddler/elementary age children to get out of dance class/so called camp.5th horrible parkingBarley any waiting area inside. By far its a great dance school if you are low income,on a fix income or just getting started, getting your child feet wet before enrolling into a real professional dance school this one is a great start.Always look at reviews if they all are perfect that's says million words 1st no business has all perfect reviews unless they ask for you to post a positive review or paying for them, giving discounts but see on yelp the business can't delete honest, real reviews only on Google, Facebook, Instagram. Goodluck

I am a new instructor this season at Lonestar Dance Center and my experience as an employee at this business has been exceptional! The communication between staff, students, and families is efficient, professional, and kind. I have been very impressed by the level of organization the leader of LDC, Micah Kotter, has maintained throughout this crazy year! Our leader and staff is committed to providing a safe and fun environment to all students. Throughout all of the Covid related policy changes in our state, this commitment to our students and families hasn’t changed and I am so proud to be apart of this family. We offer an array of dance classes, private lessons, and experienced dance instructors to teach them all! I am eager to continue as a dance instructor here at LDC and look forward to our dance family growing!
