If I could do 0 stars I would. IBC bank is not a bank you can trust. We went in about a month ago because we want our daughter to start building her credit. We applied for a SECURED credit card in the amount of 300 dlls and she was approved after we gave them all of my daughters information SSN, DL, and all other information they requested. After a week my daughter received an email from IBC asking for her personal information again so we went in person to the bank and gave them her information again so now it's been two weeks later and she still has not received her credit card so we went back to the bank and asked for the status of the card and they told us her application had been withdrawn mind you she had over seven thousand in her IBC bank account and nobody could tells us or give us a reason why her application had been withdrawn I will be closing her account with IBC and will open her bank account with a reputable, responsible and ethical bank never again will we do business with IBC .

Frustrating! I went to this branch a month ago to close my account. Mrs. Rachel helped me out or so I thought. She said my account was all closed and it was all good. A week later I log in to see my accounts and there were 2 charges with fees that had gone through. I went back to the bank and was helped by another associate and she credited me the money and I made the 2 deposits and I asked her to close my account this time as I didn't want to go back again. The girl even said they would call me when it was fixed and that never happened. Well days later there are 4 more charges!! I then decided to go to another location and Mrs. Lozano from Mcallen branch was nice enough to help me with this issue. Finally its all fixed but it was very frustrating to have to go back 3 times to the bank when it should have been done the first time!

Been with this bank for years but im going to have to leave it. ATM machines are always having issues. Normally only one service representative available. The tellers usually don't greet you and much less thank you for being a customer. I have alerts that let's me know when a purchase is made. The banks ATM broke my debit card and got stuck for over 5 minutes and when I looked at my account they took $15 out of my account for replacement of my card and the purchase alert did not go off. That's rather sneaky.

Not a good experience a lot of passive aggression in this bank location by bank manager Rachel. Beware she claims to not be unable to help and overly apologizes, while poorly displaying sympathy, with issues that are easily resolved from bank reps in other locations. She’s obviously trying to master the are of retaliation by means of “I understand”, “ I have to go by the book”, “there’s nothing I can do”, save your time and avoid speaking with Rachel.

This review is a reupdate. This bank gave me a defective card and then charged me $15 for a new card. They told me I would get my money back in less than 3 weeks. I got a call earlier yesterday that they had returned my money. I was relieved that they finally returned my money. I'm happy the folks at ibc bank made things right in the end, but disappointed that I had to go to the bank five times to make sure I'm getting my money back.

Worst bank ever. Talk about being unprofessional. Everyone I talked to for help did not. They don't care if you want to be a customer or not. Even customer service is not service at all. They did not find a solution to my problem.
