Stopped @Walmart on Jackson Road in Pharr, and was amazed by the service Vicky gave me on my broken glasses. Highly recommend her. Very courteous and friendly. More should be like her. Thank you Vicky. GOD BLESS YOU.??

Like most Vahl-Maarts, this place is crowded.

Don't order online for in-store pick up, this store always cancels. The girls at the customer service desk don't know how to use computers properly or find items for online orders. Instead of cancelling an order like every other Walmart does, they mark it as ready for pick up and then do a return. It's located in a questionable area, perhaps that's the problem but management should really train these employees and test them before hand. Do yourself a favor order from the Walmart on Jackson down the road.

The Hidalgo Walmart Supercenter is one of the newest branches of the Walmart family. It is the first one in Hidalgo Texas and a much needed one for a small but growing town. It is a super-center, which means that they sell clothing items as well as food and a wide selection of other things you may want to get. The times I've been there, I've had a great experience shopping for food, classroom supplies, and cat food. Some employees are graduates of the close by high school and it's good to see a community thrive from within. The employees in general have been helpful, directing me where to go when I need to find something and helping me find unique, not oft requested items like a door stopper. The self-pay tellers work marvels, as you can be in and out in a matter of minutes. When in need of assistance there, you can always count on someone being readily available. This Walmart is equipped with a SubWay inside close to the south entrance. It's great for a quick meal grab for the schools and business around the area. Highly recommend this Walmart.
