Super knowledgeable and friendly! They were able to recommend plants for our front and back patio, as well as how to care for the plants and soil recommendations.
Thank you guys!

Great place and great people. I had what looked like a fungus taking over my yard. They asked me to bring in some grass samples so they could look at them. They determined the fungus and the correct fungicide to use. They even let me borrow their spreader for one day instead of having to buy one. THANK YOU ;-)

I’ve been to a lot of nurseries and it really stands out when you find a place like this. Very well organized and labeled. Prices are clear and fair. The variety is impressive. I saw plants that I don’t commonly see and trees that were too tempting not to buy. Some very interesting varieties of fruit trees and beautiful finds that would make any hobbyist turn their heads. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. One of my new favorite valley nurseries for sure!

Bad, bad costumer service!
Man on the phone didn't know any information, and felt like he didn't want any new costumers.

Max knows an amazing amount about plants and what grows well in south Texas! As a former Michigander with no knowledge of what grows well in the RGV, he helped so much!

Waugh’s has a huge selection of plants, natives as well as those adaptable to the climate of Deep South Texas. Also, If you want to know about what plants will grow in the RGV, please go see Max and Doug at Waugh’s! They are both so knowledgeable and just great people to talk to.

Extremely knowledgeable staff. Friendly service. Heard about it from the owner’s radio show on gardening. Not disappointed. Huge variety of plants, fertilizer, tools, seeds, etc. But can’t beat the advice offered for best success with planting and maintaining beautiful, healthy gardens. Tons of native plants and flowers as well as indoor plants!

This place is highway robbery be warned, they charge double the price for happy frog ad anywhere else in the country. Everywhere else is 20 dollars a bag 25 at the most. They charge 43.00 dollars for a 2.5 cubic foot bag. Take your business elsewhere, this is ridiculous mark up and gouging.
