This is an amazing facility to shelter dogs and other animals. I was very impressed.

I wanted to post something to bring awareness related to All American Dogs in Pilot Point Texas. We had taken our dog Boomer to the a different vet on Wednesday to get his rabies shot. It had lapsed, which yes I know was our fault. He ended up biting the vet tech due to being scared which caused us to have to put him in quarantine. We followed what we were required to do and took him to be quarantined on Thursday morning at All American Dogs. Every day we called and checked in on him and we were assured he was doing good given the situation. We even asked for pictures since we were not allowed to see him, which for three days we were told we were going to get. This morning while doing our daily check they didn’t answer but then called back to let us know he had passed. Not from rabies which we knew he didn’t have but they suspected a spider bite which he got on Saturday. When I called the vet that has him they advised after getting him within 2 minutes he died and was advised by All American dogs that the bite had taken place on Friday. Everyday that we called to check on him nothing was ever advised to us. Please if you ever have to go through this with your dog please don’t take them there.

These people are so rude and don’t care about animals at all. The police had to call for them to come help me and the police were nicer and more compassionate. If I could give zero stars I would. Best to go on Facebook and contact smaller shelters or rescue teams. This place is a nightmare and based on other reviews, it seems like they abuse the animals too.

ZERO STARS. My 9 month pup had to quarantine after being on his leash in my own yard. After paying an insane price to this place, I was assured twice via call by the shelter manager that my dog was in a larger kennel with a bunch of blankets during FREEZING weather and that if there was a concern he wasn’t doing well they’d call. (They didn’t) We showed up unannounced to the gate locked on the 10th day to pick my dog up. They allowed us in and brought my dog out from an outdoor shed area in a small crate kennel with one blanket in the cold. The blanket and my pup smelled like urine. He was in the corner of the kennel and looked terrified. He lost a lot of weight. Upon bringing him home, he won’t eat/drink, spirit is broken (he’s different) and most of all he’s very sick. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE.

Called for assistance with a wild animal caught in a trap. They were rude and the man hung up on me. Also they are not very smart, on their website they spelled fortunate as “fortunate”.

Our sweet boy got out while we were packing and we went looking for him. Well all American dogs found him before we did and took him back to our apartment. Well they gave us a ticket even though we were out looking for him all night. Well now that he’s back home and ever since the 2 men that picked him up brought him back, he’s been acting very funny and scared. He also won’t eat or drink since they picked him up. The side of his face is swollen which wasn’t like that before. He was gone for 12 hours and we looked for him for hours and hours. Something happened with my dog with these people and I really don’t appreciate it. Also don’t appreciate the fact that the “men” beat on my door so loud it scared our little baby. They were also so very disgustingly rude as well. Wouldn’t trust this place with any animal whatsoever. Too bad there isn’t a zero star review, even that would be too nice.

I think they focus more on being a third party code enforcement instead of being an animal shelter.

Excellent service! Saves lives! Like every other city, theres an organization that agrees to take in strays found on the streets. When our cows got out in another city we had to go pay to “bail” them out. We were out of town and they kept them for several days. Broke people get upset and appalled when they have to pay because their pet got rescued. But those are the same kind of ppl that don’t understand you have to work to pay the electric bill and mortgage. They’d rather have their pets roaming the streets.

My dog got out of our new house. It very far, if I know that they was close to my job, I would have left from there and made it in 30 min instead of a hour and half. But my baby was ok. She back home safe. If you don't know this is maybe where your dog would be and may not know it. Just look and call and see. But after you dog get out for the 3rd time, and my dog is small she is a Chihuahua mix they make you pay, 75.00 first time and after that, I am not sure. But I made sure if she get lose again, I am not going after her or go there and get her they can keep her.

Went to this rescue with a friend who was donating leftover puppy food and flea spray. I was happy to see a well-staffed, clean place that's helping companion animals.
