I hate to give a 3 stars because I really wanted to like this place. Prices definitely more than they should be. They don’t really setup anything to control the customers, so many plants/flowers were stepped on, broken, or just ruined for other reasons. Outside of that, nature is why there’s other issues and I don’t hold them accountable for that of course. Flowers were pretty but few, also didn’t last long, you would think they would at least provide tips or flower food for spending so much money.

We went too late, seems that it was the last day. It was my first time going so I didn’t know how everything worked so I asked one guy and he made it seem that he didn’t like me asking, my husband asked when it had started and he said that it was announced on social media, the whole interaction made me feel that had to inform myself thru social media or something before going there so I wouldn’t have to ask anybody. Spent $40 on droopy flowers and I bought them just because my daughter was very happy with them. I could have bought pretty ones at the store but we wanted the experience of picking them up ourselves but this guy ruined it. First and last time going. Not worth it!

Our trip to Texas Tulip Farms turned into a complete disaster. Despite traveling over an hour with a carload of excited children, our visit was ruined by the utter lack of tulips to pick, literally none. We asked for a refund within minutes of arriving, only to be met with a smirking, hateful employee who said “we posted on facebook that today was the last day.” It was heartbreaking to see the disappointment on the faces of the kids who were eagerly anticipating a fun day of flower-picking. Not only did Texas Tulip Farms deceive us with false promises, but they also continued admitting more visitors, knowing they had nothing to offer. This establishment's dishonesty and disregard for customer satisfaction left a bitter taste in our mouths. We have made the trip several years in the past and had wonderful experiences, but we will not be back after seeing the way they handled this situation. Save yourself the hassle and avoid Texas Tulip Farms at all costs.

I had a terribly disappointing experience at Texas Tulip Farms. Despite charging admission, there were no tulips available to pick when I visited. When I requested a refund shortly after entering, they callously declined. What's worse is that they continued to admit more visitors, knowing full well there were no flowers to pick. This blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and honesty makes it clear that Texas Tulip Farms is nothing more than a scam. Save your time and money; avoid this deceitful establishment at all costs.

The fields were a complete mud slide and they were over picked. I get that I came at the end of season but the company is constantly doing false advertising on their Instagram with the over the top beautiful photos from the beginning of the season.
Please be aware of the image you are creating on instagram.

Enjoyed our trip over all. However the cost to enter felt high. $6 for everyone, even my 14 month old. I thought that the admission cost may be applied to cost of flower or something, but no those were a separate fee. $2.50 a stem. Just wish I would have known ahead of time because I don’t think I would have come. $6 per person just to walk around…seemed a bit much. A lot of people go to take pictures, which makes sense to charge them. But if you purchase flowers I don’t feel like you should be charged the full admission fee.
Also, it’s muddy! So strollers and shoes get very messy.

You pay $6 per person, 12 months and under is free. $2.50 per pick. Brought my daughter and granddaughter for the experience and to pick their favs. The pictures fool you, it's not that big of land.
Yes, the tulips that were still there are just beautiful. At check out, the lady cut a large amount of the stems, it left some tulips so short, shortest vase we have, tulips barely peeks out. I thought you keep the bulb. Nope. I drove 2.5 hrs there and 2.5 back. They put it in some gel thats suppose to keep up to 8 hrs for the trip back to OK, thank you for that. They said put couple cubed ice in the vase and it will perk back up. As much money as they make, get better portable restroom and also put sanitizers it. 7 pick ea, gas, snacks, entrance fee, couple limp tulips that didn't rise back up, dinner, over $200 later I will never go back. Over rated. Disappointed. If you live close by, sure. The best part of the trip, stopping by Arbuckle on our way home for Pies.

Drove from Louisiana because of the beautiful misleading pictures on the website and Facebook page. The morning we were going to visit the farm their pictures showed fields of tulips and that is NOT what was there to see or pick. It’s one small field. We were going to do pictures and there was no way to do that because there were so many people and no tulips left. Don’t advertise that you welcome photographers and you have no space or flowers for them. Thankfully we were able to take advantage of other Texas scenery for our pictures.

Worst experience ever. Touched a tulip which was there on ground, and they forced me to pay for the flower knowing that it was not plucked by me.

This is the second year we’ve gone. It’s a family run farm that’s open from the time the tulips bloom until they’re gone. It’s fun to wander the fields picking flowers and looking at the different varieties available. There are staged places for pictures, but any picture made in the fields are lovely. Fair warning, there is lots of walking on uneven ground. If you have knee or hip issues, wear supportive footwear. If you’re on a budget, be careful about the number of flowers you pick. You can easily spend $40 or $50 without trying .

Beautiful and wonderful. We visited Tuesday during spring break. We arrived around 11:45am and there was a short line (maybe 8 people?). 6$ entrance fee for everyone (cash or card). (Babies under 1 year are free)
Parking looked ominous when we pulled in, but we drove all the way to the front and got a spot right near the entrance.
The farm is quite large and there were so many beautiful varieties. They even had a small row of irises! I couldn’t decide! It wasn’t muddy, but take boots just in case. There were probably 10 porta-potties.
What to expect: You walk in, grab a basket and read the sign on how to pick the tulips. Wander and pick to your heart’s desire. Then, take your flowers to one of the 4 “huts” where an employee trims your flowers, puts the stems in a baggie of gunk to keep them fresh (for up to 8 hrs) and then wraps them in a tissue color of your choice. You pay at this time with cash or card. They recommend discarding the “gunk baggie” when you get home, then changing the cold water daily in your vase for extended longevity.
It was getting quite crowded when we left about an hour later. It’s Spring break, so this is probably the most crowded they get! But it didn’t feel overwhelming and was so much fun. What a great excuse to get outside in the sunshine!

First time, my visit to Texas-Tulips was nothing short of magical and peaceful. While parking was a bit hectic, we managed to find a spot and proceeded to check in and purchase tickets, which felt a bit unstructured due to the crowd.
However, the staff provided clear instructions at the basket area, with a fun slogan: “You pick it, you pay for it.” It was a perfect day with pleasant weather, positive energy, and breathtakingly beautiful flowers. The tulips we picked lasted the promised 10 days and were absolutely stunning!
Despite the initial chaos, my overall experience was delightful, and I look forward to returning. Thank you, Texas-Tulips, for a memorable visit!

CLOSED FOR THE SEASON!
If you’re upset about making the far drive, a pretty park is about 15 minutes away called Isle Dubois. Has a pretty lake and picnic spots.
